Xena’s new favorite spot!!!
We recently purchased the Sunheir Orthopedic Dog Bed for our pittie, Xena, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! Xena is a large dog who loves to sprawl out, and finding a bed that offers both comfort and durability has always been a challenge. But this bed has completely exceeded our expectations!First off, the quality of the material is outstanding. The bed is made from a deluxe plush fabric that feels so soft yet sturdy. Xena immediately claimed it as her own, and you can tell she loves the plush cushion as she sinks into it after a long walk or playtime. The orthopedic foam provides excellent support, which is so important for her joints—especially as she’s getting older. We’ve noticed a significant improvement in how she moves around after resting on it, and she no longer seems stiff after a nap, which is a huge relief.The bed is generously sized. Xena is a big girl—about 75 lbs—and she has plenty of room to stretch out comfortably. The extra-large size fits perfectly in her crate, and it’s the ideal size for her to lounge on when she’s not in her crate too. There’s no more trying to curl up on a too-small bed or having to adjust it multiple times a day. It’s big enough that she can change positions easily and still feel supported the entire time.We also love the practical design of this bed. The removable, washable cover is a game-changer. Xena has a bit of a shedding problem, and with other beds, we’d have to throw them out or spend hours cleaning them. With the Sunheir bed, we simply zip off the cover and throw it in the wash. It comes out looking like new every time! Plus, the fabric is waterproof, which is a huge bonus. Xena can be a bit messy sometimes, especially if she gets wet from a rainy walk or has an accident, and the waterproof feature keeps the foam underneath safe and dry.The anti-slip bottom is another feature we love. Xena tends to do a lot of shifting and spinning when she’s getting comfy, and we no longer have to worry about the bed sliding around on our hardwood floors. It stays securely in place, even during her wild “zoomies” or when she’s tossing and turning in her sleep.Lastly, the bed looks great in our living room! It’s not just a functional piece; it’s a stylish addition to our home. Sunheir Orthopedic Dog Bed – Great Value!
This is a GREAT dog bed & it is very reasonably priced! I adopted a 55 lb APBT from our local shelter & needed a dog bed for him to use upstairs in a window seat. I found this one & ordered it. The mattress is the egg-crate style, and you can get an idea of the depth of it from the photo. It measures 4″ with the cover on. The 1st one that was sent to me had an issue with one end from the way it was folded during shipping & it wouldn’t regain its shape. I did an exchange online because I really liked the bed & was promptly sent a replacement. Super easy – just took the original one to the UPS store & they scanned my code. The replacement they sent at first looked like it was going to have the same issue on one end; however, I was able to just pull gently on the apex of a few of the points & they popped back up like they’re supposed to be. So please, if you purchase this dog bed & you think it’s smashed where it’s folded, give it a try first – just gently pull on the top of the few points & they will likely pop back up like a memory foam should. The inside of the cover is like a vinyl-type fabric. This would give it the waterproof aspect. The top is sherpa. And the bottom is a smooth fabric with little dots on it. I tried to take photos of each part. The mattress will come folded up in a small box. I allowed it to lay out overnight to air out & regain its shape before putting the cover on it. The cover zips all the way around making it very easy to remove & throw in the washer. I wash it in the washer but allow it to air dry for better wear over time. And my dog LOVES this bed. We made a window seat in front of the large windows in the upstairs primary bedroom. It allows him to look out over his kingdom (like a cat!) LOL. It’s his favorite place to lay. I just had a one inch mat on it before, but when I put this on, he was in heaven. He takes a 2 to3 hour nap on it every afternoon, and he has gone from sleeping in our bed to sleeping on the window seat on his new bed. We got the large one. It is a very comfortable bed, and it is very well made. I cannot attest to the waterproof or chew-proof ability of the bed as our dog does not have accidents & he doesn’t chew on anything. From the feel of the inside of the cover, it appears solidly waterproof. I can also tell when I take the cover out of the washing machine. I would recommend this bed to anyone looking for a comfy place for their pup to lay. I am very happy with this purchase, and you can’t beat the price or the service from the seller.

Comfy and durable
This is the 2nd one I purchased for our 60lb puppy; she chewed the 1st one. The memory foam inside is firm and durable. We’ve had the bed for a couple of weeks and it still measures at 4″ deep. The stitching is good with a zipper for easy removal and wash of the cover. The top portion is soft and the bottom has a non stick tread to help keep the bed in place. I purchased this for 20$ in Dec 2024. It was well worth the money both times I bought it.

Good bed for dogs
I like how the covers can be removed and washed. However, the inside liner that sits directly underneath the top tears within a couple of washes, even on gentle cycle. Looking to see where I can purchase just the cover for the future.

I bought this bed for my young puppy because it was advertised as anti chew. Unfortunately she ripped the side within the first hour, so the bed didn’t last long. Also the size is slightly smaller than advertised. The price wasn’t too expensive so I guess was worth what i paid for
