Bilypaws Orthopedic Chew-Resistant Dog Bed
I needed another bed for my dog while we’re going to be away from home for the summer. But he likes this new bed so much that I’m going to need to ship it home! It’s made for larger breed dogs, but I have a beagle who likes to sleep on his back (like a certain beloved cartoon character). It’s a great size at 35″ L x 28″ W x 6″ Thick. It has chew-resistant side canvas bolstered pillowcase and an egg-crate foam for maximum comfort and support for your fur best friend. You can take the cover off to wash it in the washing machine if needed. Hopefully he won’t do anything to it but I like knowing how easy cleaning it would be. My dog loves the lower front and higher back because he’s my “Velcro dog” who has to have his eyes on me at all times. He could be sound asleep but if I leave the room, he’ll get up to follow me. He’s such a sweetheart so I don’t skimp on him when I get him comfortable beds or good toys. I don’t skimp on quality for my guy because he deserves to have the best in life. This bed is definitely one of the better made beds that I’ve seen. To know he can curl up or lay flat, I know that his body will be cradled and no parts of his body will ever be on the floor due to a flattened inner foam. This egg crate foam is built to last and keep him in his best possible condition. Orthopedic beds shouldn’t be just for humans! Treat your pet with this bed. It’s not only for him, but for you to keep him in your life longer. They’re not with us long enough so always make sure they have the best care. He has been sleeping so soundly in this bed that I can see his checks flapping and his snores are loud and happy. It has extra support for his head and neck, which makes me feel great. He’s destroyed many beds by laying on one side too many times and the foam just disintegrated. That’s not going to happen again with this bed because they studied the habits of a dog, how they sleep and how to reinforce the sides for maximum comfort and stability. It makes me incredibly happy to SEE him so happy and comfortable and to KNOW that he’s truly comfortable with this well made bed. Even though we’re in a hot climate at home, this bed has a reversible cushion with plush faux fur on one side for comfort and anxiety relief while a cooling fabric on the other side for regulating temperature, catering to your his needs for all seasons: cool, hot and scorching hot! My dog is happy? That means I am happy! He’s been going into his new bed rather than laying next to me and he’s never done that before. I just love to stare at him while he’s having a great nap.

Comfortable, reasonably priced dog bed.
This is a foam dog bed.Not much to say here, it is soft, comfortable and reasonably durable, everything you could want in a dog bed. Our senior chihuahua took right to it, although she sometimes has to chase the cat out.Make sure you size it right. The small is definitely for small dogs. The chihuahua is cozy in it, and the dachshund overflows it.Also, I’d be concerned about getting this for a dog that likes to chew stuff up. It is well built, but a determined dog will be about to shred it eventually.

Good overall – only cushion cover removble for washing, & adjusting strings are problematic.
This arrived in a small box that didn’t look big enough to hold the dog bed. When opened it I found the bed had been vacuumed sealed into a very small size. Once opened, you need to leave it for a day or two to fully decompress. The bed comes in two pieces. The bed itself (base), and the memory foam cushion.Upon inspection I found 2 issues/problems. First, this has string pulls on either side of the bed/base. I assume that is to tighten it around the cushion, but they don’t really seem to be necessary. I think they are dangerous, as a curious dog will want to pull on them. It appears the strings can be pulled out, which would end up as a choking hazard. Even if not pulled all the way out, a dog could still choke on them. We currently have them tied into a knot, but are seriously considering just pulling them out altogether for safety.The second issue has to do with washing. The description states this has a removable cover, and that is partially true – only for the cushion cover is removable. The bed/base/bolster cover is not removable. Do they not think the bolsters on the bed will get dirty? I would much prefer to just wash the covers than have to put the whole thing in the washer. I know from experience the bolsters will take forever to dry, and if you don’t get them completely dry, they are subject to forming mold/mildew on the inside where you can’t see it! There should be removable covers on both parts of the bed.That covers the negatives. On the positive side, it appears well-made, with no defects found to date. Once it puffed up, it is pretty soft, and the dog seems comfortable laying on it. The bolsters are nice for the dog to lay against, and feel safe. It’s nice the cushion has 2 sides for cooling or warming. Be aware that the description states this is chew resistant, but that is only for the bed/base. The cushion will definitely take some abuse from teeth and scratching nails. However, since the cover is removable, it can always be replaced with on old pillowcase or something if necesssary.I would call this a mid-priced dog bed. It’s not a super cheap bed (both definitions of cheap) , but not some ridiculously high-priced bed either. I think it hits the sweet spot for price and quality. I feel 4 stars is a bit too high, but 3 stars is too low. I would have given this 3.5 stars if possible. If they would remove the problematic strings, and make the outer cover removable, this would be a 5 star product.

Super easy to put together as the bottom “bed” comes out of the outer part. Comes with ties you can tie to crate as well. Super soft bed material. I pulled out of package and my dog went right to it and she loves it as she keeps laying on it!

One of the best pet beds ever!
One of the best pet beds ever! Adjustable “firmness” on one side ridge to 1. Securely hold inside washable double side pillow and 2. Provide higher head rest area. Double sided pillow has a wonderful plush warmer fluffy side and also a cooling side that feels colder to touch, perfect for weather transitions.Bottom has a grip type dotted surface to prevent too much movement across floors. All of the pet contact materials are soft and all of it washable! A very well made item!

Big, Comfy, and Built for Nap Royalty
Love this bed. It’s huge—plenty of space for our dogs to stretch out. The one I got can fit multiple small dogs. The material is soft, the bolsters are perfect for chin resting, and the cover feels like it’ll be super easy to wash when the inevitable dog funk kicks in. The color is also really nice and doesn’t scream “dog bed” in the middle of my living room.(Will update only if it falls apart—or gets fully claimed by the cat.)
