House Hippo Approved
I had purchased this as our house hippo, Conrad, gets scared from thunder. It just came yesterday, and was very easy to set up. Right in time for a thunderstorm that came today. Although already nice & cushy, I put a blanket in it as he likes to “nest”, and it definitely helped. Still scared, but didn’t tremble as much. Now that the storm has passed, he’s sound asleep in it.

Very soft and cozy but strong smell when new
This had to be put together but assembly was simple, just opened the fabric and foam and put the foam piece inside and zipped it up. Maybe I should have left all of it outside for a couple of days before doing this because there is a very strong chemical smell so my dog is a little hesitant to go inside – I hope this gets less smelly over time. It has been about 18 hours since we unpacked it and it is a bit better.Has some grippiness on the bottom so it does not slide all over, but it is also very lightweight so it does still slip a bit. It does not have really any structure to it, it is basically just made of fabric and foam, so a rough or heavier dog can knock it around pretty easily. Probably better for a gentle dog or a cat!The size is great – we got the small one and my dog is about 15 lbs, 17″ long and she fits in here really well, it is perfectly cozy for her. I was worried it would be too small. She is long legged and thin, but long. The material is really soft and fluffy and when it is no longer smelly, it will be really plush and fun for her to cuddle into. I think our cat would have loved it as well, but the dog already claimed it!She has tried to dig in it already, unfortunately, so I hope that she does not dig or chew a hole in it or before we even get a chance for her to sleep in it. The material is not super durable since it is such soft fabric and she is pretty rough and chews things up really quickly.

Nicely Padded
I got this for my miniature poodles. We have 3, but Marley has claimed it as hers. She’s 16 lbs and she fits pretty well. While she does fit, I’d say she may be right on the edge of being too large to fit inside. If you consider the front, uncovered portion in the size, it will fit a little larger dog too. I would think that most all normal house cats would fit perfectly. To be perfectly honest, she doesn’t normally sleep in this, she likes to take her treats and toys in there to keep the others away. She likes that she’s protected from all sides with only one direction to protect. I’ve even seen her stick her front half just inside the door with her butt in the air while she eats a treat. The entertainment value is actually worth the price. Haha. As for the product, it seems well made. I haven’t had to wash it yet, but I feel like it will wash well. The bottom cushion is nice and thick and can be removed. That will be nice when it comes time to wash, and in the future if I ever need to replace it. This won’t stand up to a pet that chews things but for all other’s it will be a nice comfortable safe haven.

Cute and Cozy
This is a great dog bed. My 11 pound shorkie LOVES blanket caves and makes himself a little cave whenever he gets an opportunity. I thought this would be perfect for him. However, while he is a small breed, he can’t go in and turn around comfortably, so he hasn’t used it. Also, which it’s soft and there’s a padded insert, it’s not as fluffy/cloud-like as the bed he’s used to. It’s a great concept but if it was a little wider and fluffier, it would be perfect for my boy.Updating from 4 stars to 5 because my new 8 week old puppy LOVES it. She’s 2 pounds so it’s super spacious for her. I wasn’t sure if she liked it at first because she’d tug and bite at it, but I think she was just breaking it in her own way! It’s her go-to now.

Great little hiding spot/house for cats!
Exactly as described. Took less than a minute to zip up the top and add the cushion to the bottom. Cat still isn’t quite sure of it, but she keeps going in and checking it out so it’s only a matter of time until it becomes “hidey spot” # 2. (shes picky if it doesn’t smell like home, so it needs to sit out for a bit). Seems easy to maintain, and the cushion can easily be replaced if you ever needed to.

Looks just as described. Good quality, with great material. It’s firm yet squishy, cute and cozy looking. I put this out for either my little dogs or the cats and the cats didn’t waste anytime making it their first! No dogs allowed. They seem to really love it. I think the price is fair for the quality of the item. It was simple to put together and the perfect size, it doesn’t take too much space up in the room. Very adorable pet bed.
