2 Size Guideline

3 Warmth Test

1. What is the purpose of the air valve on the inner pad?

Open the air valve and plug in the pad, waiting several minutes, and the pad will inflate by itself to about 1 inch in thickness. You can press down on the center of the pad to remove any excess air if needed. Don’t use any tools to inflate the pad.

2. Why is the heated pet mat not as warm as expected?

It will automatically warm to pet’s body temperature only when in use by your pet and remain slightly above ambient air temperature when not in use.

3. Why is the animal heating pad not as hot as a human heating pad?

The heated pet mat provides a subtle heat, matching the natural body temperature of dogs and cats. A regular human heating pad would be too warm and could damage a pet’s skin and make them afraid of the heat source.

4. How to test if the pad works?

To test the heated pet bed, place a large pillow on top of it. After about 30 minutes, feel under the pillow. It will feel warm, not hot.

5. How to choose the right pad for my pet?

Consider your pet’s size and habits. Smaller pets need a compact pad, while larger ones need more space. If they stretch out, go for a bigger pad; if they curl up, a smaller one works. Ensure it’s safe and comfortable.

Outside kittys are nice and warm.
I sleep better knowing the outside kitties are warm

    Happy Kitties
I was very skeptical about this product when received that the cat nails would puncture the air mattress/vinyl component but after six months, no issues. My three cats love it and the two elderly cats are constantly in battle mode to be the next in line to use it.I purchased the smallest size at 35 watts and since the cats can stretch out on the larger pad, warming their entire bodies keeps those arthritic joints comfortable. They are much more content than on their smaller heated pads. The pad was listed for outdoor use but I am using it inside. The cover washes well. The only downside seems to be that additional washable covers are not available.I am extremely pleased with the unit and will purchase another when the season ends and they are on sale to keep all the kitties happy.

    Somewhat Disappointing
Nicely made heating pad for outside pets. Comes with a sufficiently long cord that’s wire wrapped I believe to keep the critters from chewing on it. It has an easy off cover that is simple to remove and launder. So why disappointing? It just doesn’t get very warm. It does warm up certainly, but it isn’t much; not as warm as I would like it, especially since it will be used out in the cold and wind. So, not a bad heating pad but in my opinion lacking in its basic function to provide adequate heating in freezing temperatures. I don’t recommend it. If it came with a control to select the heating settings it would be more on target.

Works great on my covered front porch.
Perfect kitty temperature. A regular heating pad is way too warm for animals. I have a heated cat house and this heated pad for when the stray I’m taking care of wants to lay on the chair on my covered front porch. Hope to eventually get him inside the house…slow process, but at least I know he’s not cold.

  6. Steve Miller

    it works just fine!
Merlin cat LOVES it!!! Me too.

  7. Dawne

    Disappointing indeed!
This heating pad does not heat up enough for outside use, especially in the sub 32 deg. weather in the Winter. I would not recommend for outdoor use, plain and simple. No way to regulate the temperature either. Very disappointed.

  8. Elsie Mickens

    Smokey’s spa
Our Smokey is loving his heated pet pad. Smokey is getting a little older and the warmer resting spot fits his perfect days.

  9. Linda Cross

Bought 2 for feral cats around our property, they are as advertised, work great, not too hot, just right, well made, very pleased

  10. Lynda Del Rey

Although this is intended to be used outside, I use it in my dog’s crate and put it under his bed. It adds enough warmth to keep the coldness of the floor at bay. I like how safe and durable it is, and i don’t have to worry about it getting too hot. I was worried my dog wouldn’t be heavy enough to trigger the heater to turn on (he’s just over 6lbs) but it works without issue! He loves it 🙂

  11. Kim

Heats up nicely. Doesn’t have a ground on the plug so I can’t use it outside. Which is why I bought it.

  12. SB

Very pleased, works well so far just hope it lasts – if I have any problems I will report here. I use it for my 4 barn cats and love the fact that I can just leave it plugged in and they use it as they want.

  13. Eric

I have only had it a few months so can’t speak about reliability but the unit is a nice warm temp and it doesn’t get too hot. Hot can be dangerous. But all 4 love it, I bought extra ones so that everyone has a heated bed now
