    Nice Tent for Cats
I ordered this for our cat to have a cozy spot during our military move. It worked great as a temporary hideout while we were waiting for our furniture to arrive. The tent pops open really easily – just a few seconds and it’s ready to go.This is a replacement they sent me since the first one arrived broken. Our cat took to it right away and spent hours in there napping and watching everything going on around him. It has two doors that roll up, which was nice because he could peek out from either side. The material seems pretty tough – no tears or snags even with regular cat use.One thing to note – it’s bigger than you might expect. It’s like a miniature camping tent, which was actually perfect for what we needed. Inside the house, it can slide around a bit since you can’t stake it down like you would outside.Putting it away is a little tricky at first – you have to push down on it to collapse it, which isn’t obvious. Once you figure that out though, it folds up nicely into its carrying bag.For the price, it’s a solid little tent that worked well for giving our cat her own space during a hectic time. Would work great for camping too if you have a pet that likes being outdoors.

Excellent pet tent for accommodating up to two cats with bedding
My cats absolutely love this tent! I have a pair of cats who usually quarrel quite a bit and like to roughhouse– but once I set up this play tent for them and put their bedding inside, it seemed like it automatically became some kind of ‘neutral’ territory they could both enjoy without me hearing them make a ruckus! They both actually sleep inside their bedding inside this tent at night as well. It was easy to assemble and the appearance is definitely camping style and rustic, but for even to large cats the size was definitely appropriate. The quality the fabric seems to be decent, although my cats have not tried scratching it yet.

    Great agility tent
This tent is great for a dog for agility! The only complaint is that it doesn’t have a screen to let air in. It works for my dog since I don’t need to cover the tent since he can’t see out.

    Cute dog tent
Cute tent for dogs. Ordered this to take when we go camping so our dog has a little travel dog house to nap in during the day. Folds up nicely and has a travel bag. Easy to set up and put away. Frame is sturdy. Fabric could be a little more heavy duty.

  6. Customer Review

Really well made tent, excellent value, highly recommend
This is a review for ASFANES Outdoor Waterproof Pet Automatic Camping Tent, Pop up Cave Bed for Indoor Cats and Small Dogs, Portable Cat House Dog House, BrownUpdate: 5/27 I’ve had this tent outside for about 6 weeks now and it still looks great. We’ve had a lot of rain the last few weeks especially and the fabric and frame have held up nicely. I’ve hit it with the leaf blower and sprayed it off with the hose several times too and the green haze of pollen and all the tree debris from the Oaks and Maples blooming has come right off leaving no stains or marks behind. I also have no rust or any issues with the frame, everything is holding up really well!I have a feral cat that’s lived in my backyard for a couple years now. She has a heated house and feeding station near my back door, to reach the electrical outlets, but the door leads to my kitchen with a lot of activities and big windows. She’s just too wild to feel comfortable there, she scares easily when she sees someone walking by, when I’m standing at the sink near the windows or when she hears loud noises like pots and pans banging. She uses her house at night but during the day she’ll only come close to the door to eat and drink. When the weather is nice she lays around on the patio but when it rains she would disappear. I put out a foam ice chest with straw on the edge of the patio, so she could have somewhere to stay dry and warm and keep her distance from the door during the day. I think it’s fine for the winter but it does look kinda junky. Before the rainy season I wanted to get her something that would give her shelter but not be too hot and something that would look nicer on my patio.I saw this tent and thought it looked ideal for rain. It’s a good size too, far bigger than a single cat needs but will give her some space for wet afternoons. I’m a small adult but I can fit inside the tent, sit up and stretch my legs out. If you have kids, expect them to play inside here!I was pleasantly surprised this tent requires no assembly! It opens up a little bit like an umbrella, in reverse. The fabric is oxford cloth, typical outdoor equipment and apparel material you may recognize if you hike or camp. It’s thin and lightweight but really durable and waterproof. There is a door on each side of the tent that can be opened and closed with a zipper. You can roll the doors up so that they’re out of the way too. I was very happy they didn’t use the plastic flaps that just hang down like a doggy door! (And just for clarification, there’s no padding or insulation, it’s just a mini tent, basic walls and floor.)Though I don’t want to put my tent outside yet, it’s very cold and we’re still getting snow a couple times a week, I did test the tent out. It is waterproof, I spritzed it with a spray bottle and all the water beaded up and ran down the sides. I opened and closed it several times, the first time it took a minute to figure out how to fold it back up. Even looking at the directions I was hesitant because I didn’t want to break the poles but once I went through the steps it was very easy. After doing it a few times, I can now put it up and take it down in about two minutes. The doors zip and unzip smoothly, they have little ties to roll the fabric up that worked perfectly and the ties are secure. The framing seems solid, it’s a little top heavy by design and that should help keep it stabilized as your pet goes in and out. All the material is in good condition, there’s no snags or holes or flaws on my tent. The construction looks good, sturdy seams with no loose or dropped stitches. They give you metal anchors to secure the tent to the ground too, if you want a more permanent placement outside on the lawn. The stakes are probably too short for use in sand, like at the beach but otherwise should be fine for compact dirt. I plan to use little canvas bags filled with play sand in the corners to weigh mine down, since my tent will be placed on concrete. But I appreciate getting metal stakes as opposed to the usual flimsy plastic ones that break easily. Overall, the tent seems really well made and designed, and I’m optimistic it will hold up over time.Last but not least, they include a bag with handles. The instructions are sewn inside the bag on a flap, so even if you put it away for a season you’ll always have the directions handy. The tent easily fits inside the bag, no struggling to get it in or take it out. And I appreciate that the bag isn’t just an afterthought that looks like it will fall apart in a few uses, like I typically see. The bag is well made and should keep your tent clean and stored neatly away when not in use. The total weight of the tent is just a little over two pounds and with the addition of the bag the whole thing is really portable. The only very minor change I would make is with the tie that holds the tent flaps together when it’s folded up. It’s very thin like a ribbon and loose, not secured to the tent. I could easily see this tie blowing away and getting lost. But that’s really the only fault I can find with the product and it’s certainly not a deal breaker.Initially I was a bit hesitant of the $60 value of the tent, but once I received it and tested it out I changed my mind. I think the quality is very good and it’s a fair value for a well made product. I have a platform dog bed with a canopy, similar idea to this tent, and it was expensive. But last summer I frequently had problems with the canopy’s frame staying upright, it’s poles popping out of place and the canopy collapsing. This tent will accomplish the same thing, shade and shelter from rain but the design is a lot sturdier and will tolerate your pet moving around and climbing in and out easily. I plan to add a waterproof crate bed for some padding to my tent floor and expect the whole set up to function much better than a canopy bed. I would order this tent again and I would recommend it to others. Pretty soon we’ll have warmer temps and frequent rain, I’ll set a reminder to update this review with any new findings after more real world use.

    pet tent – grey
I wanted a pop up pet crate/tent to use for my dog in case we ever had to leave him alone at home. After unpacking it however, that idea when right out the window. While the frame is sturdy enough the fabric is not. It is super thin and would tear so easily with an active dog, which ours is. There is also no screened area so if you have the doors closed then the dog cannot see out nor can you see in to check on them. I believe that would trap a ton of heat during the warmer months which is also a huge drawback.I will say that my 5 year old son has taken it over as an area for him to read or use his tablet. Just had to put a pad in it for comfort as the bottom of the tent isn’t padded at all.The only good thing about it is how is easy it is to set up and take down.

    Cats love this
This is like one of those tents that are mini displays from a retail store. This functions well for us and we use this indoors for a safe place for our cat to sleep when we are gone and the heat in the home is off or very low. We put a blanket over this and leave her a way in and out and she loves the safe and warm place. This is made well just like a bigger tent. We will be using this for camping with our cat too. This is of good quality and we love it.
