My two Boston terriers absolutely love this hedgehog teether.
PERFECT for their chewing level, teeth, and gums. Texture, it’s not too soft and not too hard of a rubbery plastic.They do bite off the little bumps, and the dark blue feet and face eventually get chewed off. BUT, each chunk bitten off is small. If they get the feet off in one go, that’s kinda big for them, but I always watch them when they have chew toys, as you should.They are OBSESSED with this more than the other ones I’ve purchased.NOT FOR YOU IF you have a dog that is a strong chewer (bigger than a Boston terrier), or will take big chunks off and eat them.

Hasn’t been totally destroyed after a year
I got one of these around Oct 2023 for my then puppy. She chewed off the 2 feet and the tip of the nose but has enjoyed the rest of it still. I just bought a 2nd one to have one on both floors. Again she chewed the feet off. She can only have very soft toys like this for awhile after fracturing a tooth on a hard toy and having the tooth removed. No other toy she’s had has held up as long as this one, and we have tried a TON of different things. Most of them she chews up in 10 minutes. Anything plush is out of the question. This is the only softer rubbery toy she hasn’t ruined. I’m talking about the hedgehog.We also have the green and blue ring. She doesn’t LOVE it, and she chewed off the nubs on the green part. But she also hasn’t destroyed it and she chews on it ocassionally, so I take that as a win.Edit-i bought the puppy tug of War tugbonez. It tore the first time using it. It’s small too, total of 6 inches. Each link is 2 inches. 1 star for that.

The little nub pieces come off and can be swallowed. my puppy was playing with this, and I saw her swallow something, and I took it from her and sure enough, the little nub pieces easily come off of the main body of this thing.

Cute toy for small dogs
So my wife just got 3 new pups. They chew on everything and fight constantly. So I figured I’d do something nice for my wife, since she constantly complains she can’t sleep cause of the pups chewing on her and wanting to be with her, I also wanted to get something durable, fun and that could help with the biggest pups chewing. so I saw this and thought it was perfect and cute also. My largest pup has only played with it a little so far but atleast she shows interest that’s a good start. Not like the start I had personally, trying to do somethin nice, when the toy arrives and my wife gives it to our biggest pup. my 18 year old daughter can’t keep her mouth shut and instantly says, eeww that came straight from amazon warehouse and your giving it to the pup?! Because apparently she has this idea/fear that amazon sprays everything in their warehouses with a powder to kill rodents. Well there goes my feeling good and like I did something nice for my pup and wife. I would definately buy this again. It’s a bit big for my largest pup but as i said she does show interest in it and use it occadionally, Im sure she will grow into it. My other 2 pups are very tiny and kinda runs though so I expect as they grow the to will use this, they currently show interest but I think are just to tiny right now.

Wouldn’t buy again
Bought this for my teething puppy and it didn’t hold up well. Pieces broke off and he almost choked and swallowed a big piece. It’s cute, bouncy, squishy but I wouldn’t buy it again.
