Works great!
I was hesitant to use this at first because my puppy was afraid of it. It didn’t take her very long to calm down, and I’m glad she did. Her hair is very soft and fluffy after I use this! A little tip: brush against the fur for more fluff. It also isn’t very loud and doesn’t get really hot like a regular blow dryer. Seems like it’s a good quality dryer and it works well!

Better than a Hair Dryer
I have a Miniature Schnauzer who hates to be brushed which made it impossible for me to dry her with a hair dryer and use a brush at the same time. She has a very curly coat, so brushing and drying at the same time is the best way to give her a freshly groomed look. Using this dryer enable me to brush and dry while I hold her legs and keep her from squirming away from me. My con for this product is that it is rather bulky, a slimmer model would be better to control and use. The drying towel is useless. Once removed from the wrapping it dries out and useless. More like a dried out shammy. Not sure how it can be a drying towel when one has to get it wet to use.

Brush on it is great but slow to dry
So temp, even on high it didn’t get too hot for my pup. I have a pug so short hair. He gets a bath and a good scrub every week. I towel dried him and then tried this. While it got lots of fur off of him he still was just as damp after 15 minutes. So I gave it a little bit figuring maybe all the extra fur I got off him was the problem. Even on high I tried again after another 10 minutes he still is slightly damp. I don’t have the patience or the physical stamina to lean over to dry his hair for as long as it would take to get him all fluffy and dry. His hair would take longer than mine with my hair dryer. I will still use it tho since it got a lot of hair off him and made him not so soaked.

Only does half the job, leaving you grab the actual dryer and combs. Not good
Unreliable, and time consuming. This doesn’t completely dry my small spaniel, for that I have to use a normal blow dryer that I already had. And this also doesn’t remove the tangles and dead hair like a proper comb would, it does half of both then you have to do the rest with the actual dryer and combs. My dog is never scared of the blow dryer even though it’s very loud and powerful unlike this drying comb which isn’t as loud which is one of its pros it’s not that loud but it’s definitely not as powerful and despite it not being loud my dog gets scared of it every time I try to start combing and drying him with this thing he runs away multiple times a problem I’ve never had with a normal dryer and comb, also the hair gets stuck in the combs and there’s not a release button like on some combs you have to dig your fingers in and get them out. The towel they included was a nice touch i thought at first but after drying him with it andleaving it to air dry, it made it turn into a cardboard basically. This is a cool concept if they ever make a proper one that doesn’t half the job so you don’t have to spend extra time finishing drying off your dog with your normal dryers and combs. I don’t know what most of these 5 star reviews are from, it’s mostly from Amazon offering people to review as soon as they get the product without really even having to go with it for a couple weeks atleast. Skip this drying thing and just get a better blow dryer and comb it’ll do the job a lot faster. If you value your time and sanity avoid this.

So far, so good!
My puppy hates anything that makes a noise…hair dryers, vacuums, electric toothbrushes. She runs away and cowers in the corner even when I’m not going near her with them. But this hair dryer is a miracle! She likes it and sits still while I brush/dry her. Works like a charm, especially since there was no way to hold a brush, a hairdryer and her at the same time!

This made drying my maltipoo soooo much easier than trying to hold on to him, a brush and blow dryer plus his coat looked much fluffier vs using a regular hair dryer. This is great for a small dog..not sure how much use it would be for a big dog.

I am a professional groomer and I bought this hoping it would be well tolerated by cats, it exceeded my expectations! I tested on 4 different cats all with different temperments and without exception they all were very comfortable with it. I found that the low speed was the best for the most nervous of them. It takes longer to dry but was worth it to give a positive experience for the more nervous of them. Also the brushing left the fur beautiful and smooth with the user friendly slicker brush that has coated tips. This works well for dogs as well and for the ones that are head shy of the blast dryer they seem to enjoy the gentle heat. So in all this is a great product, the only con side is it is a bit harder to hold for someone with small hands due to the shape and weight of it, however that being said, the hand piece holds the motor and once you get used to it you don’t notice it at all! Very happy with the product!!

Not for big dogs. Takes forever to dry. I tried both dry setting. The higher heat dried out my dog’s skin. He was covered in dandur the next day. The lower setting isn’t very strong. Takes forever. If you have a small pet, yes, go for it. Medium to Large dogs, forget it. I gave mine to a friend
