Cute little painting kit
This year for Christmas my daughter wanted to do a lot of crafting and so we got her a lot of different options.This little paint your own lamp kit was great. It comes with a plastic lamp, a small pallete, some paints, and a couple brushes. She was able to sit at the table and paint the whale exactly how she wanted and then set it up in here room and display it.I will say, across the board it’s probably not the nicest material, but it’s sturdy and works really well. Overall, very happy with this.

So much cheap stuff out there, this being one of them.
We painted outs and it needs a finish to preserve the paint. Anything touches the cheap plastic painted cat and the paint scratches off. The product itself is a cheap dollar store level item, and what’s worse is that after painting, it becomes garbage, because a drop of water will ruin the thing and if it touches something, the paint is gone.

Do you love cats? Do you love painting? Do you love knick-knacks? Have I got a deal for you.This is plenty of fun for a little one that may be in to artsy-crafty things. It’s small enough to add to a dresser without taking up too much real estate. Certainly not going to be lighting up a room, and depending on what color you paint and how much paint you put on, you could make it pretty dark. Nonetheless, this is a fun little project to get some enjoyment out of and keep around for a bit. Not sure I would pay full price for this, but it’s on par for what you can find at your local craft store for similar products.

Great little whale of an art project
My 7 y/o son is really crafty and needed a new nigh light, so this was the perfect gift for him. He absolutely loved it and wasted no time breaking out the paints and decorating it. It’s not a huge lamp, more of a night light, but it served our purposes really well. Most importantly, my son was able to do the whole thing independently and was proud to put it on his dresser and show it off afterwards. Put some newspaper down because the painting does get a bit messy but it dries on well.
