Better for smaller dogs
We have a 8 month old Boxer puppy and this is too small for him. It works fantastic for our 10 year old dachshund mix, though! He loves the different boxes and “playing” for his food. This puzzle feeder is made from plastic and takes up the footprint of a size of paper (maybe a bit bigger). It has doors, sliders, and spinners. It is noisy when the dog is feeding as the unit is smacked by their paws and scrapes against the floor. A rubber ring on the bottom would help protect floors and reduce noise. In short- this feeder is fine for smaller dogs, but it could be made better.

Pretty good, but a few kinks need to be worked out.
Well made and sturdy smart dog toy. My little guy figured it out pretty quickly. The pieces move easily with a nose or paw push. The only odd part about the toy is the top piece. There is a hole you are meant to drop a treat into and with no particular number of spins, randomly drops into one of the outer smart toy holes. The problem is the chute that carries that treat is rather small and some treats (even small ones) will get stuck in that hole -frustrating the dog. That said, this is a good value at this price point – considering how expensive smart toys can be.

He was interested for about 5 minutes
I have 2 cats; the older one is 13 and laid back. The younger one is 6 and an 18lb bulldozer. Cat toys are hit or miss, you never know which toys a cat will like. The younger cat is pretty smart and treat oriented. The older one won’t compete with the bulldozer, I’ll usually sneak him goodies when the other one isn’t around. When I saw this toy puzzle available as a free promotional I ordered it. Previously the younger cat has bee adept at figuring out puzzles such as small holes cut in boxes and he has to work to get treats out of it. i put some treats in the new puzzle box to see what happened. Both cats were interested in the smell of treats but the older black cat retreated once the younger white bulldozer started shoving the box around. He tried for about 5 minutes to get the treats out, moving the levers and pawing into the slots. I didn’t count how many were there but I don’t think he managed to get any out. It might be that his polydactyl paw is too large to get into the small slots. Sometimes he will play with his toys when I’m not around so I’ll check regularly to see if he’s worked any of the treats out when I’m not looking. For now, not a lot of interest. I will update if he manages to get the treats or shows more interest.

Decent puzzle toy, not very durable
Decent puzzle toy, but my corgi mix pulled two of the little blue caps out after 2 uses. Definitely a better fit for less voracious or really small dogs

All right puzzle
I couldn’t really tell from the description but this puzzle is a better fit for cats and small dogs than larger dogs. My 60lb golden mix doesn’t have enough finesse to handle the smaller openings on this puzzle. However, the concept is great and I love the different levels of difficulty in the puzzle. My dog loves puzzles and the video is her working on it at first sight. Once she learns a puzzle steps, she’s smooth and almost methodical in solving it to get to the treats. This unit is buil well and I am pleased with the mental stimulation it provides to my dog.

Work for my tribute, how dare you…
So the human SERVANT!, orders this without my knowledge or consent and then has the audacity to place my daily tribute inside of these little boxes. What part of Servant does he not understand, as the master of the house I expect my daily tribute to be provided to me in a silver bowl, from which I can gently pick the tasty morsels and consume them at my leisure, But Nooo, the SERVANT decides it will be good for me to work like my ancestors and forage for my tribute. The servant will pay for his insolence! The unit is about the right size for me, the little boxes and doors work well and are just about the right size for my paws to get into and extract my tribute, everything moves well and allows my tributes to be dispensed properly. My Servant said that the price was reasonable and he thinks its good for me to have some activities.I say just give me my tribute the old way.

Good idea, very poorly executed.
A good idea, just very poorly executed. I wanted to love this for my kiddos, but it’s just a bunch of random designs/compartments to add treats without any logic. My furry kids are playing with it once I add treats, but ultimately the smartest one decided to just flip it over! I wish they’d put a little bit of thought into the design because it’s such a good idea to have these toys for development and entertainment.
