4 my 7lb Chihauhau
Bitty has 7 of these sweatshirts in different colors and sizes. I describe them as a sweatshirt because they look like one and are made of the same material. They are easy to put on her, give her room to move and keep her warm except for her chicken legs. My only wish is that they made them in 1/2 sizes and that were all made in the same size. Some are little roomier than others and others are a little too tight, but they are labeled as the same size. This is no big deal as I have a favorite well-known brand of pants, I purchase for me, and they arrive like this as well. These little sweatshirts do pill though especially under the arms and on her back where I scratch her. On her oldest shirts I removed them with a leg razor, and they are like new.

An excellent choice for smaller dog breeds!
First off, make sure you measure your pet first as these are all seemingly made exclusively for small animals! We did so we had no trouble but it definitely feels weird to buy an XL for such a small puppy.We picked this up for our pomchi because her fur doesn’t get particularly thick and we wanted to make sure she’d stay comfortable while walking this winter. After wearing it for an evening when it arrived she has become extremely attached to it, whimpering when we take it off to wash it and excitedly rushing to reclaim it when its dried.The interior is extremely soft and it covers her well. Noteworthy is that she genuinely seems to be sleeping and relaxing more easily while wearing it which we were very pleasantly surprised to see as we worried clothing might be annoying or constraining for her.It is worth mentioning again that all of these seem to be designed exclusively for small dogs which took us by surprise at first. We measured her and ordered the XL as odd as it seemed but the fit is indeed perfect. Sincere thanks to the manufacturers for making such a quality product!

Its snug and warm and fits comfortably loose
This is a good warm shirt for our thin-coated Chi mix. I like that it extends down the leg a ways to keep her shoulders and upper legs warm. The looser fit around her trunk means that I use this to layer over another shirt. The fact that it doesn’t extend to her lower legs is a plus at times bc her legs are so slender, its hard to keep items with long sleeves on her. She constantly pulls her legs in to her body and thus, out of the sleeves unless they fit tight and have good-fitting, thin elastic at the ankles.

Unfortunately, the sizing chart has nothing to do with reality. My dog is a M, I ordered XL and it is still far too small. It would be a cute sweater, though.
