Fits Surefeed Microchip feeders
I ordered this because my new cat likes to reach into the side of another cat’s feeder and scoop out the food on his paws. The little thief absolutely hates this. The cat in the picture is grateful to not have to lose food to his little brother anymore. I’m glad I read reviews to see that this fits Surefeed feeders because it is much cheaper than the name brand and was available for next day delivery.

I wish these weren’t a separate purchase. Surefeed is useless for keeping animals eating their correct diets without it. That said, it’s easy to install and does the job.

Information is kinda vague in the listing, but can confirm that this nicely fits the feeder shown in the pictures. Nice tight fit and clips on securely. So if you don’t want to pay $60 for the brand name piece of plastic, this one looks and fits just like it.

I have a lot of cats and a lot of microchip feeders. For the most part, I have them up against the wall and next to each other so other cats can’t really sneak behind and steal food. However, I do have a few that are by themselves and have had to place them inside a box to keep other cats from stealing food. This is really annoying considering how much these microchip feeders cost and that the main point is to make sure only the cat assigned to the feeder has access. The brand name rear cover costs a lot, making it not worth the purchase since a box can work for a lot less. For the price, this one is worth it. It fits PERFECTLY and makes it impossible for another cat to steal from the back of the feeder. I will probably be buying a few more.
