Great investment
I bought the 80xl for my chunky 85ish lb pit terrier. She is a black dog with many black nails. She was abused before we adopted her and someone’s clipped her nails to the quick too many times. So trying to do her nails over the last few years has been a nightmare. And it’s no easier for the vet. There’s a lot of snarling and trying to nip since she’s frightened. Which is not her character. She’s as sweet as pie normally until nail clipping time.Long story short I wish I would’ve bought something like this sooner. Once her and our skiddish grand pup (who also has a lot of black nails) settled down and realized they couldn’t escape from being hung in it I was able to take a task that normally takes 45 mins per dog and do both in a matter of 30 mins. No accidentally getting the quicks since I could easily see the backs of their nails because they were being still. No nipping or snarling this time from my girl either! Definitely worth my money ☺️

Works as shown, could be improved, good value
not a pro level item, but it does work . dog is a little off balance, pretty much looks like the picture. straps are short, if you use a pullup bar your dog will be about eye level .no straps to hold the dog in, just gravity. still better than not having one . the included nail clippers are pretty good so far.

Did not work, even though I really wanted it to!!
I will say, that maybe this works for most dogs, but my dog is a half beagle half Jack Russel, and uh….hahahahaha We clipped him up and he was struggling to get out with his back claws, but I did manage to clip them. But his front? Oh heck no. That dog threw himself on the ground because there is zero way I am going to ever be able to clip his front nails without a sedative LOL It’s not the sling’s fault, it’s my dog. But just know, even though all the people say how amazing this works, just know your dog could be total weirdo like mine and they’ll squirm their way out and fall to the ground. He didn’t get hurt, as we were trying to hold him in there, but alas, he broke free and ran into the yard haha I WISH this would have worked for him, but he still could reach my hands and tried to bite me.But, if you’re dog isn’t a strong little freak like mine, it would probably work great!!

Works well for an anxious dog
First time I’ve ever been able to cut my dogs nails all at once. Usually he freaks out and squirms away and can only do a couple nails before his anxiety takes over. This held him tight and calm with minimal squirming. Seems well made.

My dog thrashed out and fell.
I bought the XL size last year. So it is to hold up to 80lb dogs. Mine is 65 lbs. I attach it to the overhead storage rack in my garage. My dog is not fond of nail trims. Her front end is heavier than her back end, so when she thrashed, her front legs kicked towards her back legs and her head went down and gravity took her head first. Luckily she got caught for just a second before her legs slipped out, so she did not fall the whole 4-5 feet. but because her legs were initially still caught up in the hammock the front of her fall was taken by her neck and chest. She did not yell so there is no injury, but it sure shocked me. I attached a photo from a previous trim.

Game changer. He was like a different dog entirely.
Worked fabulously! Our dog has fought nail trims for years. We’ve had to resort to sedating him with meds from the vet and let the vet trim him. Even then it took three people to hold him down, muzzle on his face, and it would end with him bleeding from a snipped quick, and scratches on the humans. But this sling changed the whole game. We didnt even need to sedate him, or muzzle him. It was as if he knew he couldnt get out of it, and so he didnt even try. He just dangled there and waited for me to finish. Great product.

Unbelievable! We’re doing nail trims without sedation!!
Wow! I’m so impressed! My three year-old German Shepherd mix has a very difficult time with nail trims and has to be sedated. And lately even the car ride to the vet is so stressful for her and me. I knew there had to be a better way and I’m so glad we found this hammock. We’ve now trimmed her nails at home twice with the help of this hammock, some CBD treats, and a couple lick mats filled with all her favorites. My husband is in charge of the treats while I trim. I sit off to the side and towards her back paws. I gently bend her paws back and clip that way so I’m away from her face and she has less visibility to what I’m doing. This hammock will save us thousands in vet bills. And has made nail trimming way less stressful for all of us.

4 stars because no instructuons
Haven’t used yet but it seems durable. It also came with nail clippers and a file. It had two loop straps not attached and the kit did not have any instructions so I am not sure what the two extra straps are for. The sling gas hoops to use for a lift.

This Hammock was great, Willow stresses really bad having her nails cut,I used to get them done at the vet but poor girl would come out bleeding from them clipping the quick, not their fault as I know what Willow’s like, anyway I used this in conjunction with my son’s engine hoist and it worked perfectly and she was absolutely stress free ❤️❤️❤️Sorry for some reason it wouldn’t let me upload pics.

We have an 80 lb lab who refuses to let us touch his feet. We tried everything. Grinders, different clippers, going to our vet. We were told we would have to sedate him for nail clipping and this was our last resort. He doesn’t love it, but he lets us clip his nails now and it only takes a few minutes. Definitely worth the money.

Quality of the hammock wasn’t worth the money, came with s hooks which stated they don’t use, and never came with the right hooks,

We bought this as our 2 year old Boxweiler (rescue) makes clipping her nails impossible. We use this with a pulley system to hoist her up in the basement and she just becomes instantly submissive, chills there while we clip her nails. Works like a charm!!!

Size is not as described. Extremely tight around the legs. Cuts of circulation! Straps tore within a minute even though my dog weighs a lot less than the maximum.
