I’ve bought licky mats, other snuffle mats, Kong toys and puzzle boxes- this hits all the marks. My lab will snub food in a bowl to hunt for the one rogue piece that’s buried in the kitchen rug. This sinches up for storage without food spilling out. Amazing. Love it. 10/10 DO recommend.

Use it everyday
Both of my dachshunds love this thing. I put a little food in the bowls and the rest of it in this mat. It takes them longer to eat and they love sniffing around finding little pieces of food. Might buy another one so I can keep them extra clean and always have one in use.

My Dog Loves It
We have a super high anxiety dog, made even worse by the fireworks that are going off nightly in our neighborhood with the 4th coming soon. Our vet recommended something like a food puzzle to distract him and specifically mentioned a snuffle mat. We decided to give this one a try and so far, it’s been a hit. Our dog loves it and will occasionally lay on it. It doesn’t take away the anxiety but it helps distract him after he hears fireworks so he doesn’t start spiraling right away. We did notice that a few of the felt pieces tore out within the first 2 days, but since then, it’s stayed pretty much intact. I think we’ve had it for about a week and it seems like the shuffle mat is now part of our dog’s daily routine.

Frenchie Approved Entertainment
I was a bit apprehensive when it arrived because it didn’t look “thick” enough to hide the food well enough to keep our frenchie entertained for long, but I was so wrong. It’s perfect and I love that it’s easier to clean & doesn’t shed as much as some of the carpet-style snuffle mats. It kept our 3 year old frenchie entertained for a solid half hour!

Cute idea
Fun for dogs but a few of the loops came undone after the 2nd use. Our dog could have just been too aggressive with it but he’s a small doodle so not a strong dog. He still enjoys finding treats in it even with the broken loops.

Slows them down
I cut up some of their jerky treats and hide it inside. They get excited when I bring them out. Makes them eat it slower and keeps them busy for a little bit.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to on this one. I bought this thinking it may be something fun for the pup the do, but not sure if he’d like it or just tear it apart. I put the food in and somehow it seemed like he knew he needed for search through it for food instead of play with. Once I started feeding him in this pad, he does not want the food in his bowl, he will sit and look at me until I put it in the pad. I think it does help give him something to do to so he has been calmer maybe less anxious. He even likes to lay on it for some reason…100% this pad. Especially for the price. I have washed mine in the washing machine 3 or 4 times now and the material is holding up great.

My 4 month old Labradoodle pups have graduated from their first snuffle mats and needed something more challenging and tougher. Fabulous way to slow down eating while providing mental stimulus in finding their kibble. I don’t like the long draw strings and wouldn’t leave the house while still in use. A potential choking hazard? I always lift the mats and put them out of reach until the next meal. These never got “old” 😊

Massive jump up in quality from those cheap ones at Kmart. Dog has used it dozens of times and it is still in one piece. Another brand I tried well apart after first use so I’m quite happy with this one.
