Cat is a bit too smart
I now know which cat is smart and which one isn’t so smart. For the smart cat, this puzzle was too easy. For the slow cat, she would have enjoyed it for a long time by herself

Patience needed, hard for cats to figure out, even on the “easy” layout. Thumbs down.
I have 3 cats, none could figure the puzzle feeder out. Even with cat treats in it, none could do it even after a month or so. It’s difficult so unless you have a hyper cat that think treats mean everything and they’re small, maybe worth a try. I have a small cat, and 2 senior cats, one is obese, so we use a different puzzler to feed her, and she loves it. But this one, none of my cats were able to figure it put even when I took off all the pieces that blocked the treats, they still couldn’t figure it out. my family member tried it on 5 cats, which 2 would go crazy and get excited for the treats in a puzzle gave up on this one and the other green one they make. I sent both back after not 1 cat cared to try to figure it out.

It works for my cat
Rubber feet still slide, so I tied it to something heavier to prevent my cat from pushing it around the floor. Looks easy to clean since the top comes off and the pegs can be removed.

My cats figured this feeder out as quick as it took for me to put this thing together! Even on the most advanced setting, my cats seem to easily figure out how to get any type and size of treat out of it, though it does take them some work, making them give up sometimes. They seem to enjoy it, though they do prefer other feeders overall. It is effective at keeping them entertained. It especially slows them down with eating. That was much needed in this household! A nice addition, but not their favorite.

Entertaining For Cats
This is a pretty good cat puzzle toy, especially since it is adjustable which helps to keep things interesting for the cats. My cats weren’t really interested in this as a toy on it’s own, but after adding little treats inside, they were very interested. During the effort to get all of the treats out, my cats discovered the two little balls that I had put inside, so that helped get them playing with it again even once the treats were all gone. I have to give it about a week in between times bringing it out for them or they lose interest quickly. It’s at least something new to add to the various toys that I rotate through to keep my indoor cats from getting too bored.
