My favorite litter
I figured all tofu litter was basically the same, but that is definitely not the case. Pidan was one of the first brands I used and I fell in love immediately. I tried switching to cheaper tofu litter brands but they do not clump or mask smell as well. The corn starch is my favorite so far, I love using mostly plain tofu litter and then mixing a little bit of the corn starch variety into it. It really helps with longevity and odor control

Still some dust and tracking
Our cats liked to use this tofu litter, better than the wood based litter I’ve been using for years. However, there is still some fine dust that’s in this litter, the scent is absent, and it tracks litter very easily outside the box. This cat litter is also quite expensive, especially if you have three cats like we have. This litter is manufactured in China.

Im surprised at how well it clumps – just like clay! but the larger particle sizes means less tracking! Odor control is on par with clay litters. Dust is a bit better. Love it overall!

Pay attention to the size
I dig this tofu litter. The first brand we tried with our cats had a strange sour vanilla smell, but this is just a natural scent and works fine. The tofu is about what you expect, the wet bits break down and clump up making it easy to clean. We actually use this is a litter box in the most public area of the house and it does a good job with regular scooping of not stinking up its corner. Unfortunately it is easier than regular litter for the cats to kick it out of the litter box, or there’s something about the difference in texture which makes them want to play around with it more, but using one of the honeycomb mats underneath the litter box solves that problem. This may not be the most cost effective tofu litter, but the quality is fine. It was also easy to have shipped since it came in a compressed brick.

Triggered Allergies in both my wife and I.
We tried this litter by mixing it 50 percent with pearl cat litter. First thing we noticed was a mild, but pleasant scent. I got my nose a bit too close trying to figure out what it was, and my nose started to run instantly. I was very stuffy later that day. My wife seemed to be doing fine until that evening when her eyes started to water in bed. She had to use my 24 hour allergy eye drops for the second time ever. Both of us had to use the drops. What was even stranger is that the eye drops only lasted about 1 hour. They’ve always lasted a full day. Our long haired cat likes to lay on her pillow and was already on her pillow when all that happened.The next morning we swapped out the cat litter and our symptoms gradually returned to normal as we gave everything a good washing, to include the cat with lots of baby wipes.I did try scooping the next morning and the cat litter required a bit of peeling off the bottom of the cat litter box. It also stuck to the bottom of the cat litter scoop.

Impressive litter
I got this clumping cornstartch/tofu litter as an alternative to the heavy clay and crystal litters that I currently use. I have two cats in my household and constantly have litter and messy footprints tracked all over with my current litters. I was highly impressed with how little this cornstarch/tofu tracks. I have a rug in front of litter box area and my picture shows how little the cats tracked even after one week! It clumps well and makes cleaning a breeze. Ofor control is fantastic! You can walk into the two rooms that have litterboxes and would never know that we had even a single cat.
