Great for aggressive chewers
I ordered the Potaroma Frozen Treat Dog Toy Enrichment Ball for my two malamutes who love toys with treats, and it didn’t disappoint. Both of my dogs have had many toys that can be filled or stuffed with some type of treat or food and one of the challenges has always been to try to keep them from using good ol’ fashioned brute strength…in this case, jaw strength…to get to the food. Stuffed dog bones are problematic because they can bite off chunks of the bone. This is dangerous for any dog but especially so for one of my dogs who already has a damaged esophagus (from regurgitating during a surgery several years ago) and is on a liquid/soft diet. And, I worry that they’ll damage their teeth some day. In contrast, the other toys I’ve had where you stuff them with peanut butter, soft cheese, or something frozen, are made from typical dog-toy rubber/plastic and the dogs will destroy them pretty quickly. This worries me because of the possibility of ingesting part of the toy and ending up with an intestinal blockage. Based on these past experiences, I was hesitant to try this toy but, boy-oh-boy, I’m so glad I did! This toy is made from a material that’s hard enough that neither of the dogs has even tried to chew on it. My fingers are crossed that this will continue but so far, so good.Following are the things I like about this toy:+ This enrichment ball can be in two different ways:(1) filled with kibble and the dog rolls it around to get the kibble to drop out OR(2) fill one of the cups with a favorite food, pop it in the freezer, once it’s frozen, put it in the ball, and the dog licks it through the hole in the top of the ball+ As mentioned above, it seems to be very durable+ The cups (of which two are included with the toy) have a lid to make it easier to fill and freeze them+ The frozen food stays in the cup when you put it in the toy; (other similar toys use a silicone mold which requires you to remove the food from the mold before putting into the toy and it doesn’t have a lid which can be quite messy)+ Its size will work for all but the smallest dogsOverall, I think this is a great toy and, at its current price (as of 4.30.2025) of $16.99 USD, it’s a good value. I definitely recommend you try one!

Highly entertaining
My dog loves this you and it holds up to his aggressive chewing. It’s great to watch it roll all over the room with my dog having a great time!!! Set up can be messy, but very worth it!!

Dogs love this so much more than I could have anticipated.
This has turned into a favorite toy/treat for my dogs. They absolutely love it! The smaller dog loves to push it around with her nose to get the pieces of food to roll out. It works great as a slow feeder for her. My big guy has no patience when it comes to food. He has pushed it a couple times to get the food out, but then he just picks it up and drops it to try and spill out as much as he can in one drop. The real benefit for him has come with putting one of the cups inside with a frozen treat of some kind. He loves most of these so far and the licking keeps him busy for quite a while. And once he’s licked out all of the frozen treat, he’ll keep licking just as long as he still smells the scent of the treat. He also hates being hot, so these frozen treats are like a double reward for him. This dog toy has far exceeded my expectations. And it is holding up perfectly everything so far – the big guy (130 pounds) playing rough and dropping it to see what happens, being pushed around the living room and bumping into walls and furniture, and being washed and dried and used again over and over and over. I don’t think we could have enough of these. They are that popular in this house.

Great durable dog toy.
This treat ball is cool and keeps your pup busy. It may have been the treats I put in but most of them came out the first roll. My dog personally loves a frozen treat to lick out of. The containers are easy to clean and can quickly put together to give them something to do. It’s non toxic and very durable. It is a little weighted so my dog wasn’t able to pick it up. Great for aggressive chewers. Decent price for a durable option to keep them busy. Over all its a good dog toy and I like that its multifunctional.

Good dog toy
This was a nice hefty product but it wasn’t very good at holding the treats inside. they fell out easy if they are the size of kibble. It did work, and it was really easy to clean up was able to just soak in warm water. It was priced well. I did enjoy the two functions with fillable and dry treats though!

New pup loves it, occupied her for quite a while!
At first, my pup didn’t know what to do with this strange little ball wobbling in front of her. Then she caught a wiff of the frozen treat inside and it was over. I put this in her crate the first time we left her for a few hours and it seemed to last quite a while (we were checking in with cameras). Not sure if she even stopped to take a break. Easy to fill cups, solid construction. One review I read mentioned that it’s much heavier than you would anticipate — they were right. It’s not a flimsy plastic ball — it’s solid. A grown dog could probably pick it up and move it around but you wouldn’t want this thing banging around. It comes with 2 cups and 1 lid if you want to use it for loose treats. I plan to always have a frozen cup ready in case I have to crate the pup for longer than usual. I mixed plain greek non-fat yogurt with water and it was a hit. 2nd time I put in a couple of mashed blueberries. Gonna try some kibble, then bananas for variety. This thing was great, would definitely recommend!

Cute dog treat dispenser for all dogs
This item alright. I froze some peanut butter in it and it turned out well and my dog was a little interested. I think maybe it would work better in my case if I bought some actually treats to freeze, but this item is easy to use and fits description.
