terrific cat toy
Battery life is fine… multiple 5min sessions on a charge, spins, bounces around, spins lights and really takes off on hardwood floor. Cannot figure the routine that it auto starts when touched after it stops. Keeps two kittens thoroughly. amused as it goes all over the place randomly back and forthOne description falsehood in that it does not travel on any kind of rug, but I didn’t expect it to, so I kept 5 stars. Well made with silicon rubber shell and worth the money under $10….update : figured out how to engage auto restart by press and hold…a month later and they are still amused

Cat Loves It…On a String
My kitten played with the ball, but preffered it with a string attached. The string was too thick and stopped it from rolling. I hung it from a string, dangled a string lower and she loves it.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
First but not foremost, delivery takes forever and there is no tracking information. Second and most importantly, it is a piece of trash. It does not does not work at all on carpet and that should be in the description. But even on bare floors it mostly just spins a few times and then does nothing, then spins a little more. It does not move let alone bounce off of obstructions. My cat was curious for about 30 seconds and then walked away. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Pretty good idea
This got my cats attention right off the bat. It does very well on tile/hardwood/linoleum floors but when it comes to carpet it just sits there and spins. I think it would work better if it had some spikes on it to help it grip the carpet to be able to move on it. It would be cool to, to add some type of sound effect to it like a bell or animal sound.

Ball barely moves on carpet
The ball is supposed to move on carpet as well as hardwood or tiled floors. It does not. I have a very short pile carpet (1/inch) and it is very dense. Works well on other surfaces but useless unless I sit in kitchen to watch her play.

Battery can be recharged – but doesn’t last long
Once charged, the ball does progress around the room, turning and twirling as it encounters carpet, etc. Unfortunately, my cat seems to be scared of large objects, and she refuses to interact with this lively toy. It might be perfect for a semi-aggressive cat. Seems like the charge doesn’t last longer than one day (before it must be charged again)
