Love the smaller bag sizes
So nice to not break my back for a litter box. It comes with two bags per order, and each bag is good for filling an entire litter box. Also, obviously love the natural ingredients as I’m trying to promote better health for my cats and our home. Not too dusty either, much less than my previous brand (Tidy Cats NonClumping). Works great in automatic litter box too!

Our cat hates it, but it absorbs the urine like a champ…
I ordered the Progato Premium Natural Diatomaceous Earth Kitty Litter for our 1 year old cat. Turns out our rescue kitty has asthma and needs a litter that is natural, fragrance free, that does not produce dust. Yet just about everything we have tried, she has hated. The litter we are currently using, she absolutely loves, (as do I), but it is so expensive, we continue to search for something new.This particular kitty litter fragrance/dye free and 100 percent natural diatomaceous earth. I was a little concerned about using diatomaceous earth litter, because diatomaceous earth is comprised of microscopic diatom shells, which tend to have a lot of little microscopic sharp edges on them. So it would not be great for the lungs if it produced dust. But since this litter has been the number one litter in Brazil for two decades, I thought we should try it.The litter pieces are pretty large, almost dime sized, and they don’t produce dust when kitty is in the box. There is some dust when you pour it out of the bag, but it seems to settle at the very bottom of the box, so it is not a problem. Furthermore, since the pieces are larger, they don’t track all over the floor like the smaller litter. it also absorbs all the pee like a champ and it absorbs all of the pee smell.That said, kitty doesn’t care for it much and uses this box only for pee, because it is not clumping and she can’t bury the poo the way she wants to. Plus, I don’t think she likes the way it feels on her feet. Her usage of this particular litter box has dwindled down to once or twice a week and we are going through way too much of the other litter, so I need to continue my search for another option. For me, it absorbs pee and doesn’t smell, but it doesn’t attach to the poo well, doesn’t handle poo smell, and the rocks don’t really go through my wide openings scooper very well, either. So I end up throwing away a lot of good litter, while trying to scope the poo, and because the litter doesn’t coat the poo well, you have to wait until the poo is pretty hard before removing or you get it all over your scoop. Since this litter doesn’t handle that particular smell, I don’t like to wait that long. I’ve tried mixing this litter with our current litter, to see if it would change her amount of usage, but it has not.Overall, works great for pee and pee smell. Doesn’t have fragrance, is 100 natural and doesn’t produce dust. On the other hand, it does nothing for poo and poo smell, kitty doesn’t like it, and doesn’t want to use it. Your cat may not mind it, but mine is a spoiled prima donna princess, who is pickle pie if she doesn’t get what she wants. Yes, she is a bit overly spoiled. (Don’t judge me, LOL!) Regardless, the litter functions exactly as advertised. Is not supposed to be scoopable and it is supposed to be used with scoop free reusable trays. Therefore, I give the product five stars.

works but ease your cat to it
works well at absorption 5/5 , odor control 3/5 – my cats pooped outside of the box the first day and i mixed some of their old litter and they adapted by the next day with no issues. This one works better then the other natural litters i have tried but i am still not crazy about any of their odor control with two cats in the house.

Little dust
Has very little dust which I’m seriously happy about as it causes issues for them and I. I would say odor control is moderately good but even after sifting it tends to stick around. I’m unsure about the clumping as it does a bit. And seems to last a long time.

Cats are in love
I like that this is organic and my cats are in love with these 3 different cat nips. They loved the box and tried to get at it when it was in the trash! They are absolutely crazy for this! I’ve included photos. The next morning I found an empty container and the gall fruit was gone! They actually opened the container (maybe the ghost did that, lol) of silvervine and the sticks were strewn around. Crazy kitties! Trust me, this is a high quality product and very fresh. Low dust and obviously the smell is outrageously wonderful! If you’ve got cats, get this and y’all will thank me for this stellar review. Great value for the money! Worth it!

Litter pieces are larger than anticipated. I dumped it out and did not use the remainder. Make sure you closely read the description.

kind of like crystal without the silica dust
if you like crystal you’ll like this litter. It works like crystal litter.It does a bit better with odor control than my crystal litter which doesn’t smell until I do my daily mixing. It dehydrates poop. The chunks are bigger so it tracks less but some cats may not like it. My cats didn’t care. I still kind of prefer clumping but only the best clumping – this litter is better than MOST clumping litters in my opinion.

Essa é sem sombra de dúvida a melhor areia que já usei,neutraliza bem os odores e o grãos são grande,o que fica menos sujeira na casa se comparada com as de grãos menores.

A areia não tem a durabilidade esperada! Só dura 6 dias de uso, tendo dois gatos. Pq como a pedrinha absorve a urina, em no máximo seis dias vc terá que jogar fora ela, pq o cheiro fica insuportável, ela não elimina o odor da amônia que a urina exala! Não penso em comprar mais , até o fabricante melhorar o odor.

Absorve bem tanto a urina quanto as fezes. O problema são os gatos de casa que jogam a areia pra tudo que é lado pra enterrar.
