My dogs love it!
If your small dog runs hot, I highly recommend this! My papillons love it and they really like having the pillow too (also helps when you have an older dog that can’t breathe very well, like I did.) It is cooling when they first lay on it, but naturally since it’s still fabric it eventually gets warm from their body heat. I have two now, and one always stays at the foot of my bed.

It’s small & the material is cheap for how small it is
I could overlook the size, if the material wasn’t so disappointing. My long haired cats seem to really enjoy it, but i can tell it’s only going to last a few days before their nails snag thru the fabric. It’s not gel. It’s quite a light weight mat, almost more like a blanket. The large size is too small for a 20lb cat.

A true cooling mat that my puppy enjoys!
My 4 month old puppy loves this cooling pad! It is cool to the touch. The padding is very nice despite being no more than an inch thick. She rests her head on the pillow and cuddles next to it. It’s light and wipe able. She just has to share it with one of our cats!
