Got this for my puppy after he got his hematoma drained. We got this for him to prevent himself from opening the wounds. I’d say it’s true to size and sturdy. He looked so funny with it on lol

Be sure to put on dog just before the thinder starts to see if it has any effect on animal.
The neck band was quite tight when the rest was a little too long for a Westie. And had no effect on dog when thunder was within 40 miles.

Sizing is difficult
I bought medium and large just to try and get a good fit. (Medium being pink and large being gray). My dog (shepherd/black lab) should be able to fit both. And while both go on her head…pink is too tight/uncomfortable and gray won’t even stay on her larger half husky son. I’m just going to sew the gray until it’s an okay fit for her. In the meantime-she’s wearing the one I crocheted

My dog had an ear infection and to stop him from itching we put this on him, it worked well until it didn’t. I would buy it again but make sure you buy the right size! My dog is large but I think I should have gotten the medium one to fit his head better. MEASURE and make sure you buy the right size . 🙂
