Hands Down the Best Cat Litter Ever!!!!
After inheriting an indoor cat, I had to scramble to find a good cat litter that would make Mr. Kitty & hubby happy. I also needed a cat litter that would control the odor so hubby wouldn’t make kitty become an outside cat. The other criteria was that the litter had to have no odor (no perfume or other smell to mask the cat urine smell — which actually makes it worse). I tried a few other brands and rejected them for many reasons — smell of the litter before the cat used it, the dust, the anti clumping, the mess, the fact it had to be replaced so fast — I was getting frustrated and hubby was a hair from throwing Mr. Kitty out. Thankfully I found Purina Tidy Cat Clumping Free and Clean Unscented Cat Litter. This cat litter is a life saver for Mr. Kitty. There is No smell from the litter even when he uses it — which is a huge must if you have an indoor cat. The litter clumps right up and absorbs his bathroom habits, making for easy scooping up. The litter is dust free and doesn’t make a dusty mess. This litter is easy to clean and last longer as it immediately clumps up and keep the litter box cleaner longer — which makes the litter last longer — which saves you money. I can’t recommend this enough — if you have a cat you need this litter.

    Works Great
Just FYI, cats have extremely sensitive noses, do scented kitty litter can be bad for their respiratory system.I’ve also found the unscented cat litter prevents your home smelling like you have a cat AT ALL because they can’t smell the sickly sweet scent of the cat litter!I accidentally bought the scented kind once. It was horrible. Not only did it smell bad, it set off respiratory issues in one of my cats and also didn’t clump as well as the unscented one.The unscented one clumps very well. This brand replaced my previous brand because it clumped so well.

    Almost perfect
Having had to give up on the Dr. Elsey’s litter, I searched just about every other option on Amazon, and read many, many reviews. So I’m grateful for all the reviewers who posted in such detail about this Tidy Cats Free & Clean Unscented litter. I was especially looking for comments on how fast and solidly it clumped, and the reviewers were right — it clumps so quickly that cat wee doesn’t have time to work it’s way to the bottom of the litterbox, avoiding the dreaded cement-residue, and allowing the remaining litter to stay clean and dry. With the Dr. Elsey’s litter, my cat’s wee would end up creating solid, cement-like clumps on the bottom and sides of the box, making scooping very difficult and never resulting in a clean box. Every few days, I had to toss out the entire box of litter, wash the box and refill it, and I began to really dread the whole scooping/box-cleaning routine. For a few months there, I must have been one of Dr. Elsey’s best customers. This Tidy Cats litter is on the lightweight side, but it’s super-absorbent and creates clumps that essentially encapsulate cat wee so that it doesn’t contaminate the rest of the litter. Only once since I changed to this litter did my cat urinate close to the side of the box, but the clump came away cleanly, and didn’t leave a concrete slab on the side, as had happened regularly with the Dr. Elsey’s litter. With this new litter, my cat doesn’t find it necessary to dig down to the bottom of the box before doing her business. Now she just does it on the surface, then covers it, where it instantly clumps, making it very easy to scoop. The rest of the litter then remains clean and dry. Room service at the “Sands Hotel” is now so quick and easy! That said, this litter does track. Quite a bit. And because the granules are round, they tend to roll far and wide. And they’re porous, so they pulverize if stepped on. But I’m happy enough to wield my handy-dandy Oxo standing broom and dustpan combo to sweep up rogue littler, rather than use a litter that might track less but requires brute strength for the scooping routine. I did fill the litter box quite deep with almost the entire 38 lb box of this Tidy Cats litter in the hope of keeping cat urine from reaching the bottom of the box. So far it’s working very well. In addition to making my cat’s litterbox visits more pleasant for her, I’m expecting this litter to last much longer, saving lots of clean-up effort and cash. It’s early days yet, but for now, I’m sold on this Tidy Cats litter.UPDATE 2+ WEEKS: Happy (and amazed) that this litter has stayed clean and requires only easy scooping and topping up every couple of days. Even if my cat urinates near the sides of the litter box, the clumps come away free, leaving the box itself and the remaining litter clean. I’m gobsmacked, but in a good way. So glad my search for a good cat litter is over!

Best litter for me and my cat
My senior cat recently started getting picky about the litter box. She was not going in it at night; not covering up when she did go in the box. I’ve tried so many different brands over the years and with my asthma and allergies, I cannot use scented or anything with too much dust. This litter pleases both me and my kitty. She goes in the box regularly *and* covers it up very well. I have had no dust drifting to my furniture or other household surfaces. In the past, I could see the film of litter dust accumulate on the top of my toaster oven (drove me crazy). With this litter, there is ZERO dust on top of my toaster oven. In addition, because it clumps so incredible well, I remove very little of the used litter on a regular basis which makes it so much more cost-effective. I use a disposable litter liner and instead of changing the entire box 2x a week or more, I could go to 1x a week due to the excellent clumping. My only issue is that even the 16 pound bag is a little heavy for me to lift and pour, but I prefer it over having a huge plastic container to dispose of. I was using the litter at a pet store where you re-use the plastic containers but it was too dusty and the litter was too big for my kitty / she no longer liked to touch it. These granules are light and small and better on her older paws. Many thumbs and dewclaws up on this product!

Works well. Does the job. No weird perfume smell.
