Needs to be a bit taller
This is a very sturdy bed and looks nice and sleek. The reason I am taking off 2 stars is because the frame is not high enough for how much sag/give the bed cushion has. My cat laid in it last night and it was hitting the floor (and my cat is not overweight by any means). The frame either needs to be taller or the bed needs to be a bit more taught/less saggy so the cat doesn’t end up mostly lying on the floor.

This looked like a nice product, but I was a bit dubious because my cats have not traditionally been crazy about hammock type beds, I suspect because it doesn’t feel firm under their feet. I put this together quickly, using the easy to follow instructions and the supplied tools. Once I assembled it, I tried putting the cats in it, but they quickly jumped out and seemed to enjoy lying beneath it, using it as a tent. Not to be thwarted, I sprinkled some catnip on the bed and that was a game changer. Both cats were on the bed and quickly adapted to it and use it regularly now. Before I reviewed the product, I washed the hammock. It was a little green from the catnip adventure. There were no washing instructions for the soft bedding, so I put it in a warm washer and a low heat dryer and it came out beautifully. Still soft and no shrinkage. Another reviewer said that their bed sagged, but my two 10 lb cats have no trouble lying on it together and it doesn’t come anywhere close to the ground. It’s also attractive. It’s sleek and minimalist with a light colored wood frame. It’s a winner in my house.
