Not many reviews to help so I will try to give more info.FYIThis is my 6th border collie in 45 years. My 100% smooth haired border collie (10 mos old) is skinny and long. This cutie is hard to find a correct fit, she’s built like a pointer. She is: neck- 13″ chest-20″ length- 21″. Knowing she’d likely fill out and ruff thicken for cold weather, I bought a large. Whoa! Huge on her! She slides out of it. The back leg elastic is at least 4″ too long, the elastic that wraps around her waist (yes, waist, not chest) is too long even after the flaps touch. The back length fits. I’ll have to get a medium and I guess the back won’t be long enough. I’ll update this review for the medium when it is here and I can try it on her.If it fit correctly, it’d work for three seasons rainy weather down to the 40’s. People forget dogs wear their own fur coat- if the weather is dry and not excessively windy, this coat is sufficient as a wind breaker. The elastic is not good quality. It’ll stretch out. It’s too long already-the back elastic hangs to her knees- and she’s very long legged. Even if the medium fits reasonably well, I’ll replace the chest elastic with plastic clips found on camping gear with a bit of polypropylene strap-wmt sells one for luggage that is the same green. I’ll likely replace the back elastic with stronger thicker, shorter elastic. It’s good I sew and have elastic remaining from masks.*I like the bright green. It’s very visible in rainy weather.*The reflective trim IS reflective- even in the house on a cloudy day.*The material has strength and not a thin plastic feel. It doesn’t seem like it’ll snag easily on thorns or dog toenails.*The clear visor is strong but puppy doesn’t like it. Her tall prick ears fit under it (they lay back) but tickle so puppy shakes her head often. We’ll put it on her and leave it until she’s used to it.*I still like the design better than others for functionality in wind and rain. Also, puppy doesn’t pee or poop on it.*BC’s are smart and agile. We use a chest vest instead of a collar- it’s harder for her to escape. This coat works for both collar and vest. I like this coat’s flap for our vest.*I like the long sides that drip outside of her legs. I like the chest wrap that keeps long fur dry on long grass or splashing rain. I like how it can wrap over the back and keep the long back piece in place.*With a buckle, better back leg elastic, and additional reflective color choices (orange/red, yellow, etc), this would be THE coat to buy! I’d definitely give it 5+ stars.* Creator: consider a separate line offering long and short backs for bull dogs, dachshunds/pointers, etc. as men’s shirts and woman’s jeans are offered. There is nothing out there for these long and short dogs. You’d have an unexplored market. ;)I’ll update soon.

She’s not thrilled…but I am!!
This fits my large St. Berdoodle pup perfectly. We haven’t experienced wet weather together yet, but I’m dreading it because she takes so long to dry. I was looking for a raincoat to protect her body, while leaving her legs exposed so she felt free to do her business. This does exactly that. An added bonus is the clear visor on the hood. It is shielding her eyes while still allowing her to see. I cant wait to try this out in the rain. Love it!

Good idea
This product kept my dog dry in the rain. However the scraps by the leg is very loose and often slips off. The hood was a great idea however it was tight to the point she could barely see. Also it was easy for her to chew on her rain cold and break it.

I live in the NW and won’t take my dog on a walk without wearing a rain coat during the winter – – the “wet dog smell” stinks up my house! This rain coat is effective, and it has a cool little see-thru brim too!

Good quality. However the hood clear shield didn’t fit over my dogs fae correctly. She hated it over her face. I bought for that clear shield, but my dog hated it. So, I decided to keep the coat because it’s good quality, and I just cut off the clear shield and now my dog likes it and it keeps her dry when she’s out on light rain days.

Bought XL for a 80lb English laboratory. Fits well. The straps for the back legs seem to be in her way; walks more freely without them but they are not tight. The jacket looks very nice. The material could be thicker and the visor is sitting on her eyes (these are the reasons I’m only giving 4 stars). I tried to attach pictures but the app is malfunctioning.

This raincoat was pleasantly surprising. It fit my difficult-to-fit dog really well, though still a little big. That’s okay for me, as it just covers more of her without trailing or anything, so it’s “big” in the best possible way. Also, this is the only coat with back leg loops that ACTUALLY just hold the back end down without riding up into her business. Every other coat that has loops like these ride up straight into her nether regions. This one does not, and that is such a major plus.It is very very bright and has reflective lining. It also has a clear band/visor edge of the hood so that it can actually fit over her head but not totally blind her, which is great too. I wouldn’t necessarily call it completely waterproof, but very water resistant. What I mean is that it holds up well to pretty normal rainfall or light rain, but if you’re walking in a downpour, it will eventually soak through. This is the same issue that human raincoats have though, in my experience, so ultimately I’m not docking points for that. And in a true downpour I generally have to avoid taking her out anyway because she is absolutely miserable in the rain.Overall, I like this a lot and definitely recommend it.

I love this coat but my boxer was not impressed with the see thru visor. Freaked her out so I’m not sure we will use the hood, but the jacket is great and fits good. Haven’t got to test it yet as we’ve had no rain.

This DOMIGLOW Reflective Dog Raincoat is well made and fits well. I love the fabric, it’s light but does the job and keeps her dry. The clear visor is a great idea. The reflective edge binding works well too.The only thing I found was that the snap at the top of the neckline was very difficult to open. I was afraid of it pulling through the fabric.Otherwise, I definitely recommend it.
