Get these!
Sturdy. Made my life easier. Relieved to know I can now trim my medium dog’s nails. Trimmer does the work without excessively relying on my smallish handspan and weak gripping hand strength. This is the one my petite vet also uses. I think this is very good trimmer and I have tried two other types. One quick squeeze and it was done! Thanks for the strong spring and great product design! Finally, something that delivers as much as it promises!

Impressive Nail Clippers Are Incredibly Effective
A long time fan of Miller Forge clippers, I took a shot with a pair of these and boy am I glad I did. These clippers are sensational.I’ve had dogs my entire life and nail clipping is always one of those chores which I can’t decide who hates it more the dogs or me. if there’s a clipper out there chances are I’ve tried it – with the exception of guillotine style clippers which crush the nail, cause pain and should be banned. But dremel based grinders, scissor style clippers to you name it – we’ve tried it.Our Old English Bulldogs DESPISE having their nails clipped as do most pooches, the trick I think is speed and accuracy and these clippers make that pretty easy to accomplish. The build quality is superb, heavy metal – no plastic! plus a rubber hand grip on the outside, great tension on the spring – and perhaps most important incredibly sharp blades both lower and upper. The open eye hole design is perfect for most any size dog – they even work great on our 95 pound Bullie who has nails like a Pterodactyl. The nails were trimmed fast, quickly and safely.Worth every cent, these are simply outstanding.5 trimmed paws up!

sturdy, accurate
As a dog groomer, I have used these suckers daily for two years now and they are still going strong. Sharp, sturdy, accurate, and work well in tight spaces of overgrown curled nearly into pad nails. The small (regular*) size clippers I have used in any dog between a Chihuahua puppy to an adult Great Pyrenees. Sometimes I need to attack the nails at strategic angles in the exceptionally thick nails, but this works like a dream, with minimum effort actually cut.The Large ones…well, I only break them when I have a certain Irish Wolfhound or Great Danes with nails as thick as my pinkie finger. They would no where near as good as my small ones. I really haven’t decided if it’s because they are not as sharp as the small, or if my hands are too small for sufficient leverage. After all, the spread of the handles are pretty much the width of my palms…so I leave that to you to decide.Either way I will buy these again when I finish beating my other set to a pulp.

Well constructed, sturdy, sharp Dog nail clippers
1-22-13. You can’t tell just from the picture, but Resco Pro-Series Scissor-Type Nail Trimmer, Large , are very well constructed and finished dog nail cutters with sturdy sharp blades, excellent safety latch, cushioned handles, all metal with rubber handle cushions for non-slip grip. I was very pleaaed with the unit. The form-fit packaging makes it easy to store the cutter and hang it up, if you wish. The lifetime warranty is nice. The Resco pet products made by the Tecla Company that was founded in 1897 by Thomas E. Clark (T.E. Clark) in Walled Lake, Michigan makes good stuff. While this product is manufactured in China, it’s not the usual Chinese “junk” I have become accustomed to finding. The price of $25 on Amazon seemed high until I got the product. Well worth the price. I recommend this tool.I recommend learning how to properly trim dog nails from your local vet, if you do not already have that skill. I was really “chicken” to try it until I learned. A small bright pen light shiling through the nail from the far side lets you easily view where the “quick” is, so you do not trim too close, even with very dark nails. I originally bought the Resco Original Guillotine Nail Trimmers and have used them successfully but because they tend to crush the nail of my 120 lb retriever, a better tool was required and the Resco Pro-Series Scissor-Type Nail Trimmer, Large is just the right tool.

Excellent, professional grade clippers
I ordered these for my 75 pound dog who is so terrified of having her nails clipped at the vet that she has to be heavily sedated.I used at home two nights ago and was easily able to cut all of her thick nails. They are well-made, heavy and extremely sharp. I highly recommend

No more difficulty trimming my dog’s nails. Thank you!
Wish I could give these an extra star. A+++ quality! These are the best dog nail clippers I have ever seen and far nicer than I imagined possible in todays market. These are true heavy duty trimmers. I imagine I could roll over them inmy 4 wheel drive without even scuffing them. They haven’t chinced on the stainless steel. Theey are incredibly sharp too so you get a nice clean cut the first time even with really tough brittle toe nails like my Great Dane has on all 4 paws. She hates getting her nails trimmed because historically the cutters do not cut through her nail without lots of pressure, and then they shatter. These new trimmers do the trick easily and quickly. I wish I had these to begin with.

Buy a smaller ine
Nice trimmer but larger and heavier than necessary. Recommend one of the smaller, lighter options.

Excellent clippers
I purchased these because of a review on YouTube by a professional groomer. These are what he uses and has had a pair for 19years and swears by them. I have to say he was right they made my job so much easier than before. If you need a pair of clippers buy these you won’t be disappointed
