It’s cute, little disappointing though
This is a wand only, no toys come with it. Had a difficult time getting the clip open to attach a toy to it. Do not think that you will be casting on this, which is fine too really. The string is pretty short so you can’t throw the toy very far. It’s actually kind of a clumsy mess for me. It DOES however work well if you forget that it’s a fishing rod, and just use it as a wand to play with your cats.

Its a cute cat toy but the fishing pole is really a gimmick more than something that changes the play experience that much. Yes, its funny to have a fishing pole with a cat on the end chasing a toy but that is where I removed a star. The reel comes with enough line to drop the toy maybe 4 foot from the tip of the pole. This is sufficient for dangling the toy in the air in front of the cat, which is funny for sure and the cats love it. But if you think you will be able to “cast” the toy and reel it in, you won’t. Yes, you can add your own string to the reel to make casting possible but I think its a shame the manufacture didn’t do this on their own. The reel does work, although a little clunky. It is a fun way to play with your cats and the pole is durable and will take a beating so its a good deal IMO.
