I made the switch from normal plastic litter trays, that I needed to change every other week due to the smell. To this stainless steel tray, the litter box doesn’t smell at all. Instead of changing the litter every 2 weeks, we’re trying to see if we can go 4 weeks. The only issue I had was the connector kept falling off, so I stopped using it. Worth the price, good quality, very sturdy. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

Money saver
Despite the fact that the waste collection section is not as wide as it is in the reusable trays, I think this will save me money in the long run by not having to buy the trays and only the crystal litter. Even if I have to change it slightly more frequently, the inconvenience might not outweigh the cost savings as they can be expensive. I do wish it was made closer to the specs and had a wider waste tray, but it seems sturdy and easy enough to clean in between changing.

Much better than plastic tray, clamp-on extender is better than magnetic.
This stainless steel cat tray is much better than the plastic ones and doesn’t absorb urine odors. It’s a little thinner than I expected, but this hasn’t effected the performance- the clamp-on extender seems to work much better than the magnetic kind, though it has fallen off once, it still out performs the magnetic ones by far. I would recommend to a friend and would purchase again if needed.

Build quality ok , tray itself twists a little due to thinness of material but on a flat surface with the cat litter in , it would be perfectly fine. Reason for 3 stars is that the actual collector at the end of the tray for the ‘cat waste’ is incredibly narrow compared to the original cardboard tray and for my cats , ( we have 2 sharing tray ) would most probibly mean clearing it on a daily basis as a minimum. Shame , had great expectations but this last point made this product a non starter for me .
