Kittens go crazy for this durable toy and string
Okay, these are not cheap, but they are worth it. Especially if you have kittens. I was scared when the brand changed names the quality would go down, but it has not. I have had these for years, and when my older cats were getting up in age it was the only toy that would still perk their interest for more than a few seconds. Now that I have kittens, these are indispensable. Not only do they go crazy for them, they go for 10-20 minutes a go. I get tired before they do, and they are the only toys this is true for.As to quality, these are the best I have had bar none. my first one, (the dragon fly) survived 10years, two older cats, and has only started to succumb to the kittens an their pincer teeth after two months. Meanwhile, other want toys, including Jackson Galaxy toys, only last a few days at best before interest is lost or they are destroyed to the point of disposal.not only are the toys themselves durable, but almost more importantly, the string can survive being gnawed the heck out of by my adorable vampire kitties. In short, but this. You can also use whatever want you want, but the RompiCatz one has really hold bounce and is delightful ergonomic to hold-which is nice when play sessions go 30 minutes 🤣

Great toy , safer than most
3 out of 4 cats love it, been a while now and it’s still in one piece . Sturdy. I like that the metal clip isn’t attached to the critter , have had bad experiences with those getting caught on the cats paws with different types of toys.

  3. The Walking Dude

    Great, High Quality Toy
This toy is absolutely great. We have had the wand with a smaller bug on it for a while now, and decided to invest in the bird bug to spice things up for the children. They love it! Can’t get enough of it. They stop when they are exhausted, but only grudgingly. Lots of racing around to catch it, and leaping into the air to grab it. I know that these toys are a bit more expensive than other cat toys, but they’re worth it. They’re incredibly well designed. The cats love the shape and movement, and they are extremely durable. Highly recommended.

    Best cat toy I’ve found.
Absolutely the number one toy we have tried. And we have tried alot. Previously the best was a lifelike looking bird, which she pounced on and would put into her mouth and bite down but apparently the bite wasn’t so satisfying since she lost interest in a week or two. So i got the mouse looking one. It has been going on weeks and she is still obsessed with it. The soft fur and soft leather like back seems to meet her realism kink since she starts twitching to chase it as soon as it comes out.She has already bit a few hokes in the leather but honestly even if this thing broke in a day I’d probably buy one once a week, it’s that good.

Good replacement for Neko Flies Kragonfly
Our Tortie cat Buttons approves!Miss Buttons is addicted to her Neko Flies Kragonfly, which is no longer made (as far as I can tell). We got this as a replacement. As you can see in the picture, the original is in pretty bad shape. The RompiCatz is very similar. Most of the other toys we looked at were too big.The tail and wings are identical to the ones that have been lost. The legs are yellow not green (no big deal), and may be a teeensy bit thinner. It has the same metal wrapped core and string attachment point. The Neko has a short braided string and a long elastic string that attaches to the wand. The Rompi is all braided string. We will graft it to the existing elastic as that is half the fun – letting go of the bug and the elastic snaps it away so you can chase it.The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is pretty expensive. But, you know…cats…

    Loves it
Kitty would tell you it’s one of her favourite toys

  7. Y. O.

Realistic bug, my cats all love it.
You can really make it skitter around with realistic movements. So far it’s withheld a lot of catching and pawing, but I don’t let them chew on it after catching. I give them a bunny kicker after they catch the bug for awhile so they get that prey satisfaction.Reminder: never leave string toys out after playtime because cats can get tangled and it’s a strangle/choking hazard.I wish it was less expensive but it’s good quality

    fun toy
needed to replace neko flies toy as long as you have rod to use, my cat enjoys

Our cats have been enjoying this line of toys from when we first came across them on a trip to Japan under the NekoFlies label. They are excellent quality and have survived trial by Bengals for many years. (Most toys don’t stand up to that kind of onslaught.) Our original butterfly lure recently lost a couple of wings to our newest fur-baby, a very large Maine Coon kitten. It just wasn’t as alluring with only the one, so I came looking for a replacement. I was really pleased to see these toys are still around and available. Although under different name(s) now, the new Cattimoth is the same great design and quality as the original, so I expect it to fare just as well. I fully recommend this line of toys, there is a lure to appeal to every cat and they are well worth the money.

I definitely recommend these. I’ve had the Cattikets attachment for about a week and the Bugzbird one for 2-3 weeks. Both are great, but the Cattikets is the favourite for both my kitties. I have a very energetic 13 year-old male cat who needs a lot of play time throughout the day. I try to rotate toys to keep him interested, but he has been “asking” for the Cattikets one each time since we got it. Even my 15 year-old female cat with arthritis has enjoyed catching this one a couple of time, and she hasn’t been interested in playing with anything for a long time. The 13 year-old still enjoys the Bugzbird a lot, but he’s obsessed with the Cattikets toy. When he catches it, he holds on to it and guards it jealously for some time. So, a good one to end a play session with. :)I can’t comment on longevity yet, but they seem to be very well made – better than most toy attachments I’ve used (a lot), which I would expect at this price. They’ve both fared well so far and I hope they will last longer than others. I’m going to order the Cagonfly next, since another favourite toy of a different brand has a dragonfly, but it’s cheaply made and was mostly destroyed fairly quickly.Note that I’m not using the rod of the same brand, since I have plenty of leftover wands with destroyed attachments. The one I’m using is a thin, flexible wire rod with a nice handle that has a loop at the end for attaching toys like these. The thin wire rods are a favourite since they make it easy to have the toys move in erratic ways, similar to flying insects.

I mean, HUGE! As soon as my cat saw the little legs as I pulled the Cattikets (brown bug) out of the wrap, he was on. Chirping, getting his nose right on it. This was a pricy purchase for one toy, but he’s not stopped either playing with it or pestering me to play with it. I’d love to get the Catipeed, but at AU$50+, it’s simply too much.

  12. Budhagirl

awesome, great toy, all my cats just love it, tried to purchase one for my neighbours cat, but it wasn’t online anymore, hope you continue to stock it… its a win for sure, great quality, takes a beaten and still comes out ok…

We bought this cat toy as a replacement because the first version we got of this toy was used almost daily by our 3 cats, especially the one in the video and after a year it was completely finished! Lol! In terms of durability it lasted a longggg time and we felt like it broke down in stages, so the design is also good. My cats chase it, jump up and bounce around when playing and get a good workout before they eat. It is a good quality product!
