My dog absolutely loves this toy but she loves to grab the string holding them together more that the plastic parts. Its not a huge problem but just a weird thing.

The Rope and Ball Dog Toy – Interactive Tug of War didn’t go as planned in my home. I was sold on the reasonable price, durable rubber materials, and the ability to hide treats within the toy.This toy is meant for tug-of-war between pet parents and their dogs. However, I mistakenly gave one end to each of my two dogs, thinking they’d enjoy tugging back and forth. My feisty pup became obsessed with the ball part and hogged the entire toy. Later, she completely chewed through the rope, dividing the toy into two parts. This is typical for her and not a knock on the product’s quality, as the rope is quite durable and would last longer for non-aggressive chompers.Despite this, I still give this toy 5 stars. I used the separated parts creatively: the textured rubber grip for one dog and the large textured treat ball for the other. The grip tube and ball both lasted a full month of continuous chewing and playing. The grip bar, initially threaded with the rope, is perfect for hiding treats (an peanut butter), and the ball has various slots for treats too. I utilize these toys specifically when I want to keep them busy while I’m trying to work from home, and it never fails. Both the size of grip and ball are very large.I recommend keeping this toy out of reach until you’re ready for 1-on-1 playtime to avoid ending up with separate parts like I did. Despite my dogs’ aggressive chewing, I’m happy with the quality, durability, and safety of all parts. This style and make of dog toys are the longest lasting for my pets, and will continue to bring into my home.

My dog can’t make up his mind as to which side he likes better. I get it, he wants my side lolThis is very durable and comfortable in my hand. Even when it is not tug of war time, he carries it around and chews on it. I have a sixty-pound golden and there is truly little teeth marks.This is a recommend to buy and to have fun with your dog.
