so soft and cozy
Calvin the Parson Russell Terrier got a cozy cave bed because he was chilly and was waking us up in the middle of the night with complaints. He is thrilled to death with the fluffy softness of this cave. The entrance does not stay up, and after reading reviews I took the idea someone had of running a wire coat hanger inside the opening to keep the top up. It should be perfect now. Price can’t be beat. The product photo of the Corgi in this bed is misleading. Calvin is quite a bit smaller than a corgi and this bed is JUSt big enough for him if he doesn’t plan on stretching out.UpdateI took the coat hanger out and he can figure out how to burrow in the cave bed. Sleeps in each morning for literally hours. I’m endlessly entertained by the ‘hatching’ phenomena that now transpires. He loves this bed.

Calming and cuddly
Packing was very tight and difficult to remove. Smashed the fibers of fabric. Difficult to fluff for our pet. Still enjoys it. Calming for the pet. Good price.

Not as described
Although it is comfy – it is oblong in shape – so the sizing is not accurate – the bed on the bottom is the one I ordered – the cover is kind of tight for my dog whom is approximately 13 lbs – it is also understuffed-

Easy to open !!!
I just had to leave this review because of all the reviews saying how difficult this is to open. Not true!! All you do is unroll the vacuum sealed plastic bag from around the bed. Cut off the excess plastic/bag. This releases the vacuum seal. Slip the dog/cat bed out. Voilà! Easy peasy! Popped the bed into the dryer on air fluff for 20 minutes. And presto chango! The bed came out all fluffed up. So cute! The top stays up and open on its own. But would be easy to push down too. My Yorkie has not taken to it yet .,. But it’s only been on the couch for 30 minutes. I’m sure she’ll love it since she loves to burrow under blankets.Update – she LOVES her new bed! So cute all snuggled up inside it. Happy camper!
