Her Highness Loves It
You know how the cat follows you to the bathroom? Well this brush is perfect to keep there. Because of course the only reason you sat down on the toilet was so you could brush your cat, right? Ya gotta know your place. So my brush sits near the Throne of Honor, next to the garbage can so the hair can be easily pushed off the brush and into the can (the garbage can).El Gato Meowo throws herself on the floor in the correct position for brushing, and this little tool does its’ job, easily and smoothly. The bristles are stiff but somewhat flexible, so they’re a lot like nails scratching, but the hair stays on the brush. The button easily pushes the hair off the brush. When there’s a lot of hair, you may need to peel the mat of hair off the brush, but it comes off easily and all at once.I will say the bristles are short and not for a deep fur removal, which she doesn’t like anyway.Buy this little brush, and you’ll be making yourself useful while you’re on the throne.

Passed the Sniff Test…
[the following review was dictated by the elderly Mistress Chonk because she has no thumbs…unless she’s up to something]I am not amused by cat brushes. I feel like they exist to potentially suck my little soul out through my butt-hairs. Hard bristles, soft bristles…don’t even get me started on that Mitten Monster. They smell weird, they feel weird, they pull my floof. If I see one of those things in the open, I move almost as fast as I do if I see one of those horrible cat-hats the hooman keeps finding. When I was told I had a package and it wasn’t a toy or something equally easy to pee on, I wasn’t sure what to think. But it didn’t smell weird and when I rubbed my face on it, it didn’t pull weird either. I allowed its use on my majestic fuzziness and it didn’t scratch weird. My pain spots didn’t like it, but I’ve been told I get touchy sometimes if I don’t eat all my meds and once took my angry out on a pillow that touched my hip [after I sat next to it]. It also makes easy bonus fur-pucks after a brushing which I’m told I’m not allowed to eat but I will if they aren’t cleaned up immediately. I didn’t notice any ‘air cushion’ going on with this, it’s just a lightweight fur scratcher to me. But I’m not feeling inclined to run from its sight. Unless the hooman is carrying another cat-hat too.

My cat’s new favorite brush
My cat loves to be brushed so much that she will go to where the brush is stored and roll around until you start brushing her. Our older brush was good, but it was sort of a pain to get all of the built-up hair out of the brush. I got this brush because of the hair eject feature and was hoping it would work as well as it was advertised to, and it definitely does! This brush is great. The handle is the right size and comfortable to hold. The hair eject mechanism works perfectly and is so satisfying to use especially after a week or 2 of bushing. It’s like an entire cat’s worth of hair is perfectly ejected in the shape of a rectangular pad. Each bristle has a small coating at the end, and my cat really REALLY loves this thing. When I put both brushes on the ground to give her the choice, she always paws at this one, which is her way of telling me “I like this one”! If your cat loves to be brushed, I would highly recommend this.

Doesn’t remove a lot of hair
Unfortunately this brush doesn’t remove as much hair as it needs to. I have a short-haired cat. When I brushed her with this brush, not much hair came out, but when I brushed her immediately afterwards with one of the other 2 brush I have, a lot of hair came out. She loves being brushed and loved the feel of this brush, but it’s not very effective, at least for my cat. Maybe it would do a better job with another cat, which is why I’m still giving it 3 stars, rather than 2.

Pleasantly Surprised
I have a long-haired cat who dislikes being brushed. Deeply.I ordered this new brush with all the optimism of a person whose hopes have been dashed before. Only this time, things took an unexpected turn. After the first stroke, she looked at me (presumably shocked that I’d dared to touch her with a brush) but didn’t run away. I brushed a couple more times. She sat down, ladies and gentlemen! She actually sat down! Tentatively, I brushed some more. She began purring and licking my hand. Miracles never cease! I brushed her for several minutes until her coat was glossy and smooth, then I had other things to do, so I stopped brushing. She was indignant! For eight years, I’ve been unable to find a brush Her Royal Highness would approve of. Now, at long last, I have one she not only tolerates, but actually likes.Five stars. If you don’t believe me, ask the cat.P.S. Yes, the brush is super easy to clean, as advertised. This accomplishment pales in comparison to the triumph of getting the cat to let me use it on her in the first place.

Doesn’t removed a lot of hair but…
My cat LOVED it! She sat there and allowed me to brush her for several minutes – she was in heaven. As far as hair removal, this isn’t what this brush does. It does more surface combing. If you’re looking for something that will really help with shedding, go for a de-shedder.

Cats approve
My fat tuxedo cat HATES being brushed, he refuses to groom himself he prefers when someone else does it. I got this on a whim hoping he’d tolerate it and shockingly he actually enjoyed it. I have an orange tabby who instantly fell in love with this brush (not saying much he loves being groomed).I have tried numerous slicker brushes especially the self cleaning brushes and they usually hold up for a couple weeks then the button/spring gives out. This one however seems like its a really good quality brush the teeth arent cheaply made meaning theyre not scraping against my cats skin (that was the other issues i’ve had in the past with brushes).I say if your cat(s) hate brushes, give this one a try 2/4 (havent tried it on the other 2 yet) approve, of course theyre short haired cats so not sure how a medium or long hair cat will enjoy it but i still say give it a try! best brush i’ve used yet!

Useless
Terrible product. Not sure why it is getting five stars. It broke by the third use.

I have a British long hair cat. This is a simple, lightweight and a good design. Quality product at a sensible price. The trigger button makes it easy to remove the collected hair. He purred while I used it. Would recommend
