Soft and fluffy
The bed is thinner than I expected but my cat likes it either way. She likes to curl up on the U-shaped pillow at night. The material is soft and fluffy. It’s machine washable, and I dry it on low heat and air dry it if the first heating session didn’t dry it completely.

Nice cat bed
Edit – A couple of days have gone by and I upgraded my review to 5 stars because my one small cat who I ordered it for is in cat heaven with this thing. She lays out in different ways because she can with the clever padding design. Kitty appears to be happy and comfortable with this versatile pet bed pad and that is what its all about. Thanks.The cat likes it and I like the TailTastic Self Warming Cat Bed Mat with U-Shaped Pillow -22″x18″ Soft Thickened Thermal Cat Bed, Machine Washable Heat Retention Pad for Indoor Cats.As stated, this thermal cat bed is 24″L x 18″W x 1″Th, which is not really all that thick. I think my expectations were different because the picture seemed to make it look a little plusher and thicker and more uniform and nicely finished on the edges than the cat bed actually is. It also does not lie flat yet as I would prefer, but rather the edges curl up and as a result it doesn’t look as clean and nice for a living room as I hoped it would. If it settles in over time and starts hugging the surface a little better instead of curling up and staying a bit lumpy, I will definitely come back and update this review.On the plus side, the U shaped support pillow is really nice for our small cat. The self warming feature is going to be very much appreciated come winter because this little kitty has very short hair and this house gets pretty drafty in the dead of winter. We have this thermal cat pad sitting on top of a large living room chair that kitty likes to hang out on so it is working out just fine. Thank you.

Super soft material and non slip backing
This bed is perfect size for my 10lb cat. It’s super soft with the fleece material and the raised pillow is a nice feature. Unfortunately my cat will not use it yet. She is slow to new things so hopefully after awhile she will warm up to it. The bottom has a non slip surface which could be a good feature if playing on a smooth surface but I have it inside a basket.

Our oldest cat loved this from the second it was put down for her to try out
I review products for the Amazon vine program that received this product to review.I wasn’t sure what to think of this when I unwrapped it. It feels nice to touch very soft and has a surface on the back that will help it stay put on a slippery surface. It has a raised circular edge inside of it and to our delight as soon as we put it down, our oldest cat, Kit Kat, went to it immediately and circled around and curled herself up into that semi circle area. She competed with one of our other cats for the spot and clearly won. She has been sleeping in this every night since we opened it two weeks ago.it is definitely a win because our cat adores it. I recommend this item and is perfect for this cat who weighs about 6 pounds. This is perfect for smaller cats or kittens. The price point was very reasonable. I have not tried washing it yet but will review back if that’s problematic.

Very soft but smaller than expected
It’s a cat bed. There isn’t much to talk about. The dark grey color will match about any decor. Our black cat checked it out and our orange cat turned his nose up at it. Depends on your cat whether they will like it or not. It’s pretty hot here right now though so it’s possible they will take to it better once the weather cools off. It’s not as thick as I expected it to be. It’s very soft though. Perfect size for my orange cat who is about 10lbs. The one who won’t use it. My black cat is about 13 lbs and he fits, just fits. So if you have a big choker, unless it shrimps up it might be too small.

Nice quality but possibly too small for bigger cats
Its a nice bed the stitching and quality seem good. The bed does seem rather warm, if you put your hand on it for a while it seems to retain the heat. My cats haven’t shown too much interest in using it as a bed I think this is because they’re bigger and this seems to be a smaller to mid sized cat bed. They do still partially lay on it or use it as a pillow however so it is getting used.

My cats love and fight over this mat!
My cats love and fight over this mat! I love that it’s soft has a little headrest built in. My cats really like to nestle into their pillows and none of our other cat mats had this little head rest and so this one is the one they fight over. It’s easy to clean, has a rubber textured bottom so it doesn’t slide everywhere and seems to be very comfy for them. It’s not as floofy and stuffed to the brim as other pillows, but I think some of my cats like that better. It’s always in use in the house and it does keep them nice and warm and cozy since we keep it a little cooler in the house during the summer and it’s obviously self warming and excellent for winter as well. Highly recommend. Your cats are sure to love it!
