Great for working the paws, ears, face and rear. The scissor cut VERY cleanly and make grooming a BREEZE! I wish I would have gotten these a LOT sooner! However, it’s only for smaller areas. I had the Kenchii scorpions but they went dull after a few months. I bought these since I had the thinning shears from Sharf and they worked ok. After switching to these scissors, it was so much harder for me to shape the hair on my Maltese’s legs as I had been doing. These don’t have the micro serrated edge like the scorpions so they don’t cut as well but it is possible to sharpen them. I ended up going with a different pair of shears which are working well. These shears may work well for others, but they probably need some adjustment to work well.

The finger guides pop.
The scissors are sharp and cut well however the vinyl finger guards on the inside of the finger openings pop out when you pull your fingers out. I superglued them in.
