Fits well and so far Ozzie loves it
We bought a cat tree that was great while Ozzie was a baby, but the top was flat with a small rim. Ozzie would fall asleep, roll around and fall off of the top. I found this 18 inch basket that would fit to replace the smaller one. It was easy to install and did come with an M8 and M10 screw. I just used the one already on the tree and it worked fine. The basket is a good size for Ozzie for now. He no longer rolls off the top. The little cushion is soft, but it moves around when he rolls on it. The wicker basket is sturdy too.

Ordered this because the top perch of our cat tree didn’t seem safe while my cat slept. This basket will prevent her from falling off when she rolls over in her sleep. It’s heavy and made very well. It’s also very attractive and stylish. The one that came does not have cutout though and I’m OK with that. The pictures did confuse me though on which I would receive but I’m happy with the one that came. It comes with two different size bolts and an Allen wrench so it chance of fitting is pretty good despite what tree brand you have. I did have to order a new scratch post because I couldn’t get the threaded bolt out of the support post I currently have. I was able to order a replacement on Amazon for $8. So while it’s not currently attached to the tree she’s sleeping in it on my desk and seems pretty happy with the comfort provided by the fluffy padding that it comes with. She gets in and out of it with no issues and she’s a fairly petite 7 mo old kitten. Overall I’m extremely happy with this product and feel it’s a great value especially compared to other options.

These cat baskets are the perfect size for my medium sized kitties. The attached easily onto the posts of my existing tree. They are sturdy enough to handle my 15 lb kitties jumping from one into the other.The basket comes with the pillow which is nice so you won’t need to purchase an extra item, although a little on the thin side. I purchased an extra blanket to add to the basket for extra cushion.

Great size for my 13 pound long snowshoe cat. It’s her new favorite nap spot. A little pricey but it’s worth it since my picky cat uses it everyday. It’s made with paper-like material. My cat kneads and scratches the basket before calling a nap. She will make a hole eventually.

Perfect! Made an unusable feature on the cat tree a new favorite!
Bought this to replace the tiny flat disc at the top of the cat tree (an Anppex wood cat tree tower). Neither cat used the disc as it was too small for lounging. This basket is perfect! It’s sturdy and large enough for the14 lb calico (pictured). The basket comes with a soft flat pillow, two screws, and an Allen wrench. The screw that came with my cat tree worked fine for attaching the basket.

This is a sturdy, high end basket for every cat looking for a cozy nap!
This is a very sturdy, good sized “basket” that is reinforced by steel supports on the outside of it. This cat bed/basket is supposed to be compatible with many cat trees. However the included hardware to attach the bed to our cat tree didn’t fit the small, round hole where it was supposed to go. So my husband attached it to the place where the previous bed had been by screwing through the bottom of the basket, into the existing base where the older bed had been. Then we simply covered the screws up with the included cushion. So… if you are unable to do this because of a lack desire or tools, then please pay attention to the description in f the cat tree it’s compatible with.

cat nor I like these. we have the original tree with original baskets. very nice, but thought I needed something bigger. the new bigger baskets are made from a wide-breadth loosely woven rattan. looks and feels like paper. cat immediately tried to chew the loose ends. and refused to sit in these. actually not so much bigger as taller. didn’t help roominess I’d hoped for. so, put the nice original baskets back on the tree and the $$$$ new ones are sitting on the floor in hopes kitty may deign to sit in them.yes, cats are fussy. not all rejects are product failures. but in this case, I cannot recommend. my cat is discerning and she is right: these are not worth the money I am now out. these would benefit from being tightly woven like the originals and wider vs taller for cats who need more room.
