   My cat is getting used to it
   I saw that the reviews for the rope were much better than reviews for the carpet. I got my cat to climb up the pole by taking one of his favorite toys (a feather from a mourning dove taped to the end of a string) and draging it up along the pole. Seeing him way up high there, I kinda wish the platform was slightly larger (I don’t know if he’s got some Norwegian Forest in his blood or what, but he’s kind of a bigger-than-average cat). I put an old mattress (Japanese futon) at the bottom, for him to land on when he jumps down. I’m sure interior designers wouldn’t like this giant pole-thing, jutting out into a living room, but I’m happy to give my cat something to climb.

   Cats love it!
   My cats love this! I really wanted something to mimic a tree for them and they love flying around the house and to the top. My smallest cat weighs 10 pounds and my largest weighs 13 and we have had no issue. They love to hang out at the top. It is really tall so if having a plan B for them to get down isnt a bad idea but over all the product is as it is described and you do not need to drill holes so great for apts or walls with to much electric and plumbing to drill in to!

   My cats loved it until they broke it….and still love it!
   This was a game changer for my Bengal kittens. (Both weigh less than 9lbs) They love the top perch, and chasing each other up and down the pole. The only issue was with one of the Hammock arms (see attached pic). The left arm broke, probably when the tiny monsters were wrestling.I’d love to be able to find a replacement part, or make one. The hammock was one of their favorite features, but they still use the rest of the structure without any issues.If a representative from the company reads this- please let me know if replacement parts exist. I’d greatly appreciate the assistance!

   Nice solid product
   I won’t discredit this product just because my cats didn’t like it. It’s super tall, which is great for cats that love high places. I have one cat that loves high places, like the tops of kitchen cabinets, but had zero interest in climbing the carpeted slant to get to the top perch. Despite this, it is very well made and easy to assemble. I believe it would be a great scratching post or climbing toy for many years. My cats just had no interest. One final noteworthy mention is that because the base depends on two-sided velcro tape for stability, I would question the stability of the toy if your place is carpeted. Just something to keep in mind.

   This is an unsafe cat tree
   I have two cats, 4 year old siblings, and there is no safe way for them to come off the top. The top platform is on the same side as the hammock. If I hadn’t waited so long to assemble it, it would have gone back. Don’t buy this product!

   Cat immediately went to top to sleep
   I got the one without the hammock in the middle. I am not sure how well the two pieces are joined in the middle because it’s just one long bolt and not sure if it is screwed in on one piece more than the other. It does seem to warp a little in the middle but it holds the cat weight just fine. It comes with a clear plastic sticky to put on textured walls and the suction cups work really well. I actually had trouble undoing the suction cups when I accidentally placed them against the window. It also has stickers to the floor so it stays tight in place.Update at 4 months: it hasn’t budged at all. My cats climb it very often as I put their food at the top. They are each over 10 lb. It doesn’t twist at all either so I don’t think the bolt will be an issue and the rugs are holding up to the scratching better than I thought.

   Sisal Cover is different from Sisal Rope
   I bought this to replace a tall sisal rope cactus that my cats tore up after several years of heavy use. I discovered through this product that sisal rope differs from sisal cover. The sisal cover on this product is more of a sisal carpet type, and my cats did not feel it. My floors are also hardwood, and I didn’t find the velcro tape at the bottom of the base sufficient to hold this up as it kept sliding across my hardwood floor. Rather than return this product, since the product consists of two long sisal carpet-covered poles, I took the poles and screwed one onto the sturdy base I keep from the sisal rope cactus my cats destroyed and bought a cat bed basket I could screw on top of it and turned it into a tall window perch that my cats love to perch on. Still, they refuse to use it as a scratching post. eyeroll. I also didn’t like the perch made out of wood because it’s too uncomfortable for my cats to sleep on. Instead, I found a soft cat bed basket on Amazon to screw on. After the fact, I purchased a sisal rope-covered cactus from SHENGOCASE and am waiting for it to be delivered.

   Love it!!! Perfect vertical space for a cat. Superb build quality! Easy to assemble! Great value. Looks nice. Great for climbing or scratching. Dusk gives it three thumbs up!! 👍🏻 👍🏻👍🏻

   Received the item as described in the advertisement. I didn’t drill any holes to keep the scratch post stable on the ground or the wall. Look me about 15 minutes to put the screws together. Cat seems very happy with the item.
