Great but made out of Styrofoam
The cat loves it. He uses it everyday, multiple times a day. But it’s made out of Styrofoam with sisal glued to it; it only lasted 3ish months before there was Styrofoam everywhere from the scratching.

A Purr–fect Item for your Kitty!
We have a wonderful cat who loves to play and cuddle and I have even taught her some tricks. I figured since I am a dog trainer/behaviorist, that she can learn things as well as our three dogs. And like dogs who are intelligent and can get into trouble, so can cats! Therefore we keep her busy (she also has fun with the dogs) that we w thought this item would be something she would enjoy. And yes, she sure does enjoy it! We don’t have any issues with her destroying the furniture because this and some other toys we ordered from Amazon holds her interest and we have no issues. The attached ball gives this item a little more fun than just being a scratch pad. Great fun and a good purchase!

Cats love it, but…
While my cats love this scratcher, which they also use as a bed, I don’t expect it to hold up for very long. The whole thing is very lightweight and the sisal covering barely attached to the main piece. Since my cats like it so much, I MIGHT buy it again, but not at the current price point; if it were half of the current price, I’d consider it. But even then, I’d do so assuming it’s going to be, essentially, a disposable product.

Hollow, cardboard with glued sisal material on it. Thought it would at least be durable! Glue is accessible to cats, easily ingestible. Smells awful, weighs not even a pound. Totally garbage for $50! Do not buy this!

I’m surprised at some of the reviews I’ve seen on this. Yes, this is a lighter scratchboard, but most just scratch boards are. I have a full-sized cat and two kittens that have been absolutely loving this! They sleep on it, play with the attachment and use it to scratch as they need to. I don’t think it’s a bad price point considering the size of it and for me if it’s holding up to 3 very playful and active cats, it’s worth it!

Cats love it but poor quality
My two adult cats took to this bed immediately. My 7 year old who rarely plays even plays with the attached ball. The cats take turns sleeping on it and they really, really like it. However, the bed will not last long. The little bit that the scratched is already showing a lot of damage. This bed is made out of a thin cloth covering a formed bed. There is no backup – once the rip through the cloth, there’s nothing under it. This bed shouldn’t cost more than $10 for this poor quality.
