    Bunny approved!
It’s smaller than expected, but still big enough for my bunnies large science select adult pellets. He figured it out right away! Knocks around easily. Doesn’t last very long, only a few minutes before it’s empty. Hold about 1 Tbs of food or treats. It’s made of a sturdy hard plastic that doesn’t seem to be appealing for the bunnies to try to eat. The ears and nose are very hard, not likely to be nibbled off. Easy to load.

Fell apart after a few months
Works well, easy feed with large holes for food/treats to dispense from. However, it doesn’t have much ballast in the bottom. And it’s poorly/cheaply made. One of the ears started to come off right away. Eventually the top stopped locking in place and now my cat just reaches her tongue inside the hole to lick the treats out. I already have to replace it.

So small, for an okay price!
Is so small ,smaller than your palm! honestly thought it would be bigger but I bought it for my rats for foraging toy and they haven’t broke it yet or anything I think they like it, hard for them to get the food which is awesome so they can work for the food and keep them busy.

Cat adores it (and that’s what matters, right)
This mouse feeder is literally my cat’s favorite toy, so I’m making another order of the two-pack.One by itself for 7$ isn’t exactly worth it, because the head of the mouse (which you remove to put cat food/treats inside) has become loose, and the mouse’s face has wiped off completely within about 3 months. A pack of 2 for 10$ is definitely more worth it.My cat adores this thing. She will always choose it over any other feeder toy she has out, and she even chooses it over the food in her bowl! The fact that she can easily see there is food inside is a huge motivator, and it’s pretty well-balanced that she has a fun time swatting it around while not making a huge mess. Food falls out relatively easily if it’s filled up all the way, but it’s more difficult to get out if only filled about halfway.Be careful washing this thing—you can wipe off the mouse’s face on accident. I’m also having trouble removing the bottom plastic part of the toy, so that little band of space where the solid bottom meets the clear plastic still has food crumbs I can’t get out for the life of me.Over all, it’s a cheap plastic toy that’s pretty unremarkable, but your cat will love it. It’s a good way to keep a cat entertained and happy while you’re out of the house. Good way to keep them from getting bored in general. If you’re thinking about it, just get it. And I recommend the 2-pack if this thing is only worth 5$ to you like it is to me. Personally I think a fair price for this toy would be $4.

    Doesn’t stay together
Disappointed in this product. Thought it was cute. It worked well for the first couple times my cat played with it but after the third time the mouse’s head kept coming off. The clear plastic also had fractures in it when it arrived but it was still smooth and not actually broken. I do not recommend.

    Cheap
My cat had fun with this for a while, very cheaply constructed.

    Weasel likes it
What a cute little mouse! This is an adorable treat toy, seems fairly sturdy, easy to fill and thankfully not ridiculously expensive. I’ve read some of the other reviews where people complain that it’s too small. Of course it’s obviously too small to really use as a slow feeder, or for more than 2 cats, but as a treat dispenser for 1 or 2 cats, it’s just right. As you can see from my photos, it actually holds quite a bit. I use a mix of Temptations, Jumbo Temptations, Party Mix and Greenies, and for this review, I counted them. There’s 25 treats i}}n there and I could’ve put more. They fall out as my cat plays with it and they don’t get stuck or come out too fast. I don’t know what kind of treats other people are trying to put in it, but I don’t understand why some say it doesn’t hold enough – only 8-10 maybe. If I had more than 2 cats, I’d get another treat dispenser, but for 1 or 2, isn’t 25-30 treats at a time enough? In any case, my Weasel enjoys playing with his mouse, he gets treats as a bonus and we’re both happy. I’d ignore the nit-picky complaints and get your cat this toy. Recommended.

Also Works Great for Pet Rats!
I actually got this for my pet rats as a foraging toy. It works great for them and is a great size for rats! I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for a cat, but it seems like it may be a little small.

Took over 30 days to arrive. It’s very cheaply made. And mine was defective (weighted balance keeps coming out)Not worth the effort.

I love how my cat has to work to get the biscuits out to eat them.

  11. Pamela Cameron

I don’t know what kind of treats you need to use for this but the regular size just falls right out in 1 bat from a cat’s paw!

  12. Faye

Cute little product but my cat was not interested in using it.

Ours turned up with a crack already in it and the head is very delicate to reattach after putting treats in. My cat loves it but it didn’t last long at all.
