The cat feeder. Is built mostly of plastic and is well made. It comes an aluminum serving bowl and is small enough to travel with or use at home. It has instructions to set up the automatic feeding. For functionality, the instructions are not as clear as I would like but you need to test it out to determine the appropriate amount of food. We ended up using it for treats at first during testing, and moved onto kibble once the cats understood how it worked, my advice is try the different feeding options. The bowl seperates from the machine so thats easy to clean, but with always topping it off regularly, it hasnt required much cleaning in the basic, but if required its simple enough to reach inside to wipe it down. The price and size is perfect which is why I’d recommend.

I really like this feeder. I like the shape, the fact that the controls are on the backside, and it holds a lot of food. The only thing missing is a voice recorder.

Works great
We have it set for 2 feedings a day and ended up using 2 portions per feeding. We have 1 cat, average size. The instructions weren’t fabulous but it was pretty intuitive.

I have had no problems with this feeder’s functioning: it feeds my cats when it’s programmed to. Oddly, my cats are *more* likely to eat food out of this than if I just put it in their bowl. Maybe it’s just novelty, but my fussiest girl has no problem eating kibble that she normally turns her nose up at when it’s dispensed from this feeder. It’s reasonable quiet and reliable so far. Now for the downside: The programming isn’t that hard but not entirely intuitive. The control panel and display are at the back, so I have to unplug it and move it to the counter to change the programming. You have to open it to check the food level. The manual feed is hard to find by touch since it’s a membrane switch on the control panel, on the back. If this had a remote control, or better yet WiFI and Alexa control, and either a clear hopper or a larger clear strip on the hopper, it would be perfect. Four stars for basic functionality, one off for control features and visibility.

Missing items, hard to set schedule.
I’m so confused how this happens.. we leave for our trip tomorrow morning at 6am and our new pet feeder (which has great reviews for the price) got here today. Well.. it came with absolutely no instructions & it’s missing the bowl. The timing on this couldn’t have been any worse.. I’m not trying to google a PDF version of the manual but am having no luck. Looks like I wasted money on this product!
