My terriers (Scottie and JRT) love this thing!! I hide cat kibble in the mat and they use it all day. Even my destructive little JRT hasn’t destroyed it!Highly recommend!

engages my dogs
this snuffle mat does a really good job engaging/occupying my dogs. i have used this for my 12-year-old, 55 lb dog and my 4-month old, 30 lb puppy and they both have benefited from the enrichment. for the most part, i don’t think the food is hard for them to find, but if you use this to feed them the majority of a meal, it takes them a while to make sure they’ve gotten every piece out of the mat which is what i think occupies them the longest. this snuffle mat especially helps in that effort because there are so many different places to hide food, and so many different ways it gets hidden. it’s a little time-consuming to hide all the food across the mat, but it pays off in the end because i do think my dogs find this enriching. the cord that it uses to be able to get rolled up for storage was the first thing my dogs destroyed, which was a little unfortunate, but the rest of the snuffle mat has held up well to multiple feedings.

Fun snuffle toy. My dogs get diverted by these for a good long while as I’m doing work… This is a great way to keep them engaged and focused — out of trouble!

This snuffle mat is great. Monty loves a good snuffle mat and he’s giving this one four paws up! It has a lot of good and interesting places to store food. He loves the cups at the end the most for some reason. The ruffles are nice and fit a good amount of food.Monty gets his entire meals fed to him on snuffle mats to keep him entertained and to stop him from wolfing down his food. He loves the challenge and will ask for his food to be placed in a mat instead of his bowl. That’s for plebs now.I love how long and narrow this mat is. He can work his way down the line and make sure he doesn’t miss anything.I’m unclear about all the stuff hanging off of it-clips and suction cups. Maybe these are for more rambunctious pups or for use on tile. I think I’m going to cut them off to make running this through the laundry a little easier.

It’s a winner!
The PAWLUDE Snuffle Mat is a hit with my Shelties. Getting enough enrichment for my Shelties during the winter can be challenging. I good weather, they use the doggie doors, but the last couple of months we haven’t been able to get outside much. I have been trying out different puzzle feeders, but once they have used them a few times, the challenge is gone and they are not occupied for more than a minute or two.This mat engaged the simultaneously, and they worked together, with Gino holding the mat while Bandit worked the layers. That rarely happens. I used only a couple dozen pieces of kibble and only loosely hid them for the first time. It was easy to lift the flaps and tuck the kibble under. There are several sections with deeper pockets that will extend the fun.The top surface is made of fleece with good so.id stitching. The edge is nicely bound to the bottom non-slip fabric. The non-slip is not like the backing on a door mat, more like the grippies on the bottom of socks. So it will move around. The suction cups did not stick to my LVT floor. The elastic loops are convenient for hanging the mat on a coat hook. There is a longer loop to secure the mat when rolled,making it convenient for travel. I will probably remove the elastic loops because Gino likes to chew things like this.
