Value for the money
My friend with Alheimers loves this fidget toy. Her hand are usually cold and she loves to tuck her hands in the dog belly to keep warm.

Soft and cozy!
I am in love with the dog I bought for my grandma who is celebrating her 85th birthday. She has dementia and is in nursing home. Her hands are always icy and she loves stuffed animals. My only complaint is that it would be to have a sewn on “collar” that is white and laminate for place to write who it belongs to. Either that or a tag on his tummy? Many gifts for the elderly go in nursing homes where things get accidentally lost or stolen. I was able to write her name on the ribbon attached to toy and inside the blanket but both are easily detachable. Otherwise it is perfect and I am in love!

A stuffed animal that serves a purpose!
I have a close relative with Denentia and wanted to try to see if this Fidget stuffed animal from SOFWO could help. When the package arrives, it is in the box all put together and ready to share or gift to that special someone. There is some shedding of one of the outer patches on the fidget blanket that wraps around the stuffed dog. Once of the best features is the open section with the stuffed animal. A person with dementia or sensory issues can put their hands inside and play with a fidget toy both keeping their hands warm and have some comfort with the fidget toy. The blanket that wraps around the stuffed animal has lots of fidget areas that hit on different sensory needs. This goes from various textures to zippers to rings and even a small rope. This is a stuffed animal with a purpose and is meaningful to those with dementia or a sensory issue.

Loved one with dementia liked it.
My mother in-law was a beautiful seamstress and always wants to touch fabric when we are around. She was touching the fabric, rings, zipper and buckle repeatedly. She also had one hand inside the dog. I think she was disappointed the zipper didn’t open to a pocket. As she is in a facility, I made a label with her name on it. I also sewed the Velcro piece shut and to the dog itself so it wasn’t removed and misplaced.

Useful for Dementia/Alzheimer’s
I purchased this for my 88yo dad who has suffered with dementia/Alzheimer’s for awhile now. He used to shred tissues or napkins but unfortunately declined and began picking at his skin. I researched and found this and figured I’d give it a try. It did work for his fidgeting and picking. He immediately tried taking everything off of it — his favorite was the ball that’s attached inside of it. It got some good use before he passed away recently. I’m glad for the purchase. He even kissed it when I gave it to him and he held and hugged it always.
