Got us through the first night
I got my puppy yesterday and this is, so far, the best thing I purchased. He wrestles with it and sleeps against it. He slept through the night which I totally did not expect. The toy is bigger than he is and that make the whole thing just that much cuter. I have a feeling I will be going through a lot of batteries but I think it’s completely worth it.The toy is soft and so far has taken the little guys teeth with no tearing. I’ll update further if he manages to rip it open or anythingUpdate: No tearing and I did put in a hand warmer overnight to see how that worked. It made the toy warm enough to the touch to be comforting but not too hot. I’m not sure my puppy noticed or cared and I haven’t done it since. He loves to wrestle with this and sleeps next to or on top of it whenever it’s nap time.Update May 2017 — He loves this toy, he still sleeps with it every night. It hasn’t had a heartbeat or the warmer in years but it is still his go to sleep toy. It goes with him to boarding and on every trip. He still has the original stuffy though it doesn’t have ears or eyes anymore. I had to wash it once due to an explosion in the crate, with a lot of bleach, and it fared very well. He wasn’t sure about it for a few days as it didn’t smell right anymore, but he soon fell in love with it again. Im very impressed with the quality as this has lasted three plus years of pretty constant mauling.Five Year Update: He still loves this toy. I keep considering getting a new one and swapping them out but it’s held up surprisingly well.Seven Year Update: My neighbors got a puppy and she just cried the whole first night in the crate. I got her one of these and the difference is amazing. She hears the heartbeat and goes directly into her crate!I broke down and got my dog another one, even though this is a big pricey for the size of toy. He is in love. He has spent hours cuddling with this in the past two days. I put up a pic of the old one vs new one. I finally washed the old one and it’s better, but he LOVES the new one. I was being sentimental as it was the toy I had with me when I picked him up from the breeder, but apparently he doesn’t care. I will be getting more, possibly yearly, as he destroys them.

Life saver for my 8 week old puppy
I can’t say enough good things about this Snuggy Puppy. I brought home my 8-week-old pup and was worried about how she’d adjust to sleeping alone at night. This little stuffed animal was a total game changer!It has a built-in heartbeat device that you can set for 8 hours or leave on continuously, and the soft rhythmic sound really seemed to comfort her. There’s also a small pocket for a heating pack, which mimics the warmth of a littermate or mom. Together, these features helped her settle down much faster than I expected.She cuddles up to it every night and falls asleep so much easier. It gave me peace of mind knowing she felt safe and less alone in her new home. Absolutely worth it for any new puppy parent!

Try this for new pups or separation anxiety
I recently adopted a pup, who was from a litter of 12 pups. Needless to say, she was used to having siblings near her. So when she came to me, she had some issues sleeping by herself. This stuffy, with a subtle heartbeat was recommended to be so she could feel safe and fall asleep. With the quick shipping, it was here the same day and I set it in her kennel at night. She slept like a “baby”! This stuffy is the perfect size for S,M,L dogs alike. The heart insert is held in with very sturdy velcro and will turn off after a time so that it doesn’t run the battery out. My pup is a chewer, and she has not been able to tear this stuffy apart. The design of the stuffy doesn’t leave any strings or material loose or sticking out to cause a pup to try and tear holes in it. The cute puppy face and floppy ears makes this a perfect stuffy to sit on your pup’s bed even if they aren’t in it.It can also be used for separation anxiety if your pup suffers from missing you too much.

The perfect mate for a new puppy
I got this puppy for my puppy last summer and she fell in love with it right away! She never cried in her kennel in the evenings with this puppy. The heartbeat sound is quiet enough it won’t keep a person awake at night. My dog still sleeps with this and has carried it around the house and the quality is great! Stuffing has not started to come out of the dog. Going on almost having it for a year.

Exceeded my expectations. My puppy really snuggles right up to this.
We have had our puppy for 2 days now. I am surprised at how well this works. My pup wouldn’t stop crying on day one unless being held, we turned this on and set him in the kennel with it and he snuggled right up to it and slept. He slept throughout most of the night too, only waking once. And has been going in the kennel with minimal fuss today. I know it’s still early but so far I am blown away by this.

Expensive but worth it!
Bought this for my 4 month old pug puppy to address any separation anxiety. He took to it right away and it remains his favorite toy. The heat pac and heartbeat device kept him calm and he slept thru the night from day 1. Eventually I removed the heat pack and heartbeat device from it as he didn’t need it anymore. Still the only toy he sleeps with. Clean with a damp cloth and let it dry. Plus it holds up to his rough play and chewing.

Puppy likes the toy, but not the heart beat function
My puppy really likes the toy, but not the heart beat function. He plays with the toy and it’s a well made stuffy, but the heart beat simulator seems to be too loud. I can hear it easily from across the room, and even a bit from the next room over. When it is on, he avoids laying next to it, so it was not particularly helpful for crate training. I didn’t use the heat pack, because it’s exactly the same composition as a regular chemical hand warmer and I was concerned about the possibility of the puppy reaching and ingesting it.

J’avais compris que cette peluche était fortement recommandée pour les chiots afin de réduire leur anxiété de séparation. A tester sur le moyen terme. En attendant, la peluche est très douce. Elle est fournie avec le cœur (pile incluse) qui reproduit le battement de cœur et un heat pack initial pour la chaleur. Bonne qualité de la peluche et l’intérieur me paraît sûr mais protéger le chiot une fois pelotonné contre elle. Vraiment charmant!

This is a great product. I was a little leery about buying this for my 8 week old puppy. We’ve had it for almost 2 weeks and it’s still holding up. My puppy sleeps with it every night (with the heartbeat going) and it seems to soothe him at night and during the day. He also likes to chew on it but hasn’t broken through it yet – and not for lack of trying. I can’t say he’s an aggressive chewer but it’s certainly stood up to his tiny sharp puppy teeth. I’m really happy that it’s stayed together so far – especially for the cost of it! Surprised and very pleased this far. Would recommend!

My puppy used the snuggle puppy from day one with us. She didn’t cry at all.Now after 6 months, this toy is her best friend. We can really notice how much she likes it and feel safe with it. Few weeks ago she destroyed a bit of the tongue and the tail, but otherwise is a very strong and nice toy 🙂 we are very happy
