Save your money
Already broken after 3 weeks. The battery died and won’t recharge. Great while it worked and the cats loved it.

Oh man! These are cool. Cats enjoy!
So I bought two of these and cats love staring at them and batting at them. After a few days the two balls got lost, so I immediately ordered two more. Advantages: you just push the button in twice and it works. You recharge it with the cord provided. Easy to pull case off to recharge. Cats do not get tons of exercise, but they do get spurts of running after it. they are fascinated with it, and get big kitty eyes, and it’s good stimulation for them, and I think it satisfies somewhat their hunting instinct, as they hide and Crouch down and then go after it. Or they sit and watch it, which is fun for them too. The main problem is I have to block off under my sofa and my kitchen and areas the ball likes to go into. The ball is quiet. My cats love chasing a toy at the end of a fishing pole, but sometimes I don’t feel like standing there holding the fishing pole out,.. so I place a couple of these little balls down the hall and block the hall, and they can play on their own.

Cute cat toy
Our cats enjoy it, it charges fast, but it doesn’t last very long, and doesn’t run very well on carpet. If you house is all hardwood floors it is fast and keeps the cats attention.

The whole item comes apart and doesn’t work within moments of a cat grabbing it
Hey the idea is really great, my cats wanted to chase it and play with it but the rubber connector came apart and then came off the rolling ball. I put it back together maybe four or five times. I found the rubber connection that goes from one side of the ball to the other but I can’t find the ball this morning so I no longer have both parts. I’ve looked everywhere it’s rolled itself into some corner & I can’t find it. We’ve had it 48 hours oh 😒 well 😒5 days later … I found the ball in a closet where had rolled under shoes amazingly because the opening of the door is not enough for the cats to get in 👍 but I’m glad I found it.

I’m pretty sure my Speedy Tail cat toy is defective! Not impressed!
Where do I start – well, the battery is very weak, only lasting maybe 10 minutes max before the battery runs out. Furthermore, navigating the settings (switching from light/dark green and light/dark blue) is a very daunting task. I can usually change from light green (actually it’s a yellow light, not green), then to green, but after switching to blue, it seems really hard to switch from light blue to dark blue, seems to just ignore my attempts to switch the speeds in Blue mode. Also, the speed settings are opposite of what’s described in the ‘very cryptic” instructions. Instructions say; high-speed is when using the dark blue or dark green colors, while low-speed is when the ball is set to light blue or light green. Wow, these guys got that totally backwards! It actually goes fast using the light colors, while going slow using the dark colors!Using the Green setting, the ball seems to spin okay sometimes, and only works very briefly, but in the Blue setting the ball seems to really struggle. It will sit on the floor vibrating, and making loud clicking sounds, without being able to roll. Sometimes, it makes these loud clicking sounds, while the C-attachment simply flips back and forth hitting the floor, over and over again, while the ball doesn’t even move. Basically, trying to operate this thing, whether trying to switch the settings, or simply trying to use it as intended, is extremely difficult. In Green mode, where the ball actually works better sometimes, the ball doesn’t seem to know when it has hit a wall, as it keeps trying to roll towards the same wall over and over, and thus, just sits there making clicking sounds (I read that this toy would hit a wall, and then turn around and roll another direction) – clearly it does not do that. Sometimes, even the C-attachment just simply falls off.The “Intelligent mode”, the Blue setting, is supposed to turn the ball on after it’s been put into sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity, and is then, supposedly, able to start working again when tapped by the cat. Well, sorry to say, but when I’ve used it in Blue mode, and it has gone to sleep due to inactivity, things like tapping, touching, poking, smacking, and even outright hitting the ball has no effect, it never revives. I have to hit the power button to get it to turn on again. All I know is that this “Speedy Tail” cat toy does not work as advertised, and I’m not at all impressed. One more thing, this cat toy ball does not work on carpet. Just seems to really struggle to move on carpet, and ends up sitting there making loud clicking sounds. Overall, this toy is pretty useless, and there seems to be numerous glitches, and things that are very annoying about this toy. A longer lasting battery would be a nice improvement to start with, then they should get to work fixing all the bugs.

Works as expected.
Cat is very interested, but not ready to play. Works just as described, and live not having to replace batteries. Charge lasts a day with several nugges to entice the cat.Appears to be well built and quieter than expected.

My Cats Said Meh
It is fast and its movement is unpredictable. At first my cats stalked it but then left it alone. It Has A few issues:1) The motor is too loud. That is off-putting to my cats.2) The squiggly attachment is too short. It needs to be a few inches longer.3) When it hits something hard, the plastic outer shell partially pops off leaving the motor housing spinning but not moving.

Exciting for the dust bunnies.
This product looks like fun but does not deliver. My 2 young cats enjoyed staring at it but never moved a muscle in spite of the interesting jerks and turns and having it race right into them. I would return it but I left it alone for a few minutes and now it has disappeared under something. My cats won’t even point me in the right direction of where to look.
