Seems tough, time will tell!
My dog seems to like it! Feels durable to me, time will how long it can withstand my destroyer lol 2 squeakers, not terribly annoying. Very soft and good size for large dog

Great Toy
This is a nice durable toy. I use it on the end of a flirt pole to exercise hyper dogs and teach self control.

Much sturdier than I expected.
For whatever reason my dog loves this toy, And I’m amazed he hasn’t destroyed it after months of use. I’ve had to perform surgery on many of his plush toys, He rips them apart trying to get out the squeaker, This toy has a squeaker by the head and by the tail.

Not for aggressive chewers
Dog loves these but can chew out the squeakers in less than 4 minutes. Yeah he’s super aggressive on softies. Thank goodness he’s spoiled.

Lasts longer than regular Skinneeez toys
I buy a lot of the Skinneeez toys. My dog rips the squeakers out and then we play tug with the remaining empty body until it rips apart. This Extreme version is nice in that it is more substantial and is somewhat cuddly even though it contains no stuffing. The tail has ripped off during tug, but I have kept the body to play with.So in sum, this is a step up from the regular Skinneeez toys if you want a longer lasting toy.

Adorable toy – NOT for aggressive chewers!
Arrived on time. My standard poodle ran off with the raccoon and began to play – all is good – right? Unfortunately, not. This dog toy, advertised for extreme chewers is not sturdy or durable. The dog destroyed the nose within 10 minutes of arrival. It still squeaks but has a huge hole in the face. So very disappointed in the product quality. DO NOT PURCHASE if you have a dog that chews.

Happy puppy = happy pet parent
I have a 9 mons. old Westie puppy who is an avid chewer and loves his squeaky toys. I became so tired of picking stuffing all over my home every day ( I used to spend Sun. nights re stuffing and suturing his toys). Bought a few of these Ethical pets toys — he loves them! And I am relaxing on Sunday nights. They are well made and still intact after 6 wks. Most stuffed toys only last a week w/ him. Happy puppy = happy pet parent! Also, washes well in the washing machine and the squeaker still squeaks ( he often runs outside with this toy ).

The sole survivor
My Australian shepherd loves soft toys, but he also is compelled to destroy them. He dislikes the firehose-type materiel and only uses hard toys for stress-chewing. We compromise with stuffing-less plush fabric toys, which he inevitably rips in two before he dotes on each piece, carrying first one and then the other around with him.Until this toy.Not only has he had it for a month without doing significant damage, but I gave him another skin-eez toy (regular) since then and he split it in half. So, he clearly remembers how to kill a toy and make sure that it is dead! But this toy has managed to pass from the ‘shake and destroy’ phase to the ‘carry and cuddle’ phase without losing any significant parts.Kudos to the manufacturer for actually creating a reinforced toy with soft toy feel.

This toy has turned out to be fantastic. After realizing that my dog seems drawn mainly to flat, floppy toys, I figured this toy would be a big hit, and it has been. He absolutely loves it; we’ve had it for about 6 weeks now, and he brings it to me several times a day to play with. It has also held up very well and withstood a ton of chewing, tugging, and flinging around. Aside from the gnawed ears and paws, the toy looks like new, and the body shows no signs of wear.

We have had this 3 days now and it’s still in one piece. Our Maltipoo puppy has chewed off one of the ears but it is otherwise intact. Lately this is a record as he is very tough on his soft toys, some only lasting an hour or so. If this lasts a few weeks I will definetely buy again.

C’est le seul jouet qui résiste longtemps avec notre notre Yorkshire. Malheureusement la composante qui fait du bruit à briser en une heure.

I had previously purchased the smaller squirrel version of this toy. My 11-month-old miniature Dachshund (17lbs) loved it. She shook it around and it took her a while to completely shred it, which I knew would happen eventually. The durability of the stitching on that toy made her take her time ripping it apart, but eventually poor squirrel was gutted from its head to its tail. She got hours and hours and hours of enjoyment out of that $10 toy.So I decided that I should get her a bigger one. I got her the 23″ beaver and I can’t describe my disappointment accurately. With the squirrel, my dog never could rip off any of the actual fur. With this beaver, the fur is a completely separate layer that isn’t at all secured to the inner cloth layer. So my dog took off a few big chunks of fur from simply playing tug with it. I couldn’t find the chunks, and I hope she didn’t swallow them. I don’t think she did, but beware potential choking and blockage hazards with this toy.Every other toy with faux-fur on it that I’ve bought (and I have a lot of them, it’s her favourite type) the fur has actually been attached to the toy. Unlike this one, where it’s just some pelt laid over some bad cloth material. The only place where the fur is “secured” is around the diamond square stitches.
