Cute, good quality, and a variety of textures for dogs to enjoy!
These are such cute squid toys! They’re perfectly sized for a medium dog, but my big/giant dogs (80lb Golden/Hound and 110lb Bernese Mtn Dog) still had a blast chewing on them and playing with them. They’ve stood up surprisingly well to their energetic abuse so far, which is more than can be said for a lot of toys I’ve given them. They love the squeaks and the variety of textures, between the fabric face and tentacles and the rubber shell around the top of the head. It’s not quite large enough for my dogs to play proper tug of war with (which is probably part of why it hasn’t died in a glorious explosion of fluff and fabric yet), but smaller dogs should be able to do so easily. My pups enjoyed playing keep away from each other with it so much we got a second one of a different color to alleviate jealousy issues. They still keep stealing them back and forth, but now it’s harder to hoard with a second copy being left behind them when they do!

Made our coonhound happy!!
Very cute toy! Somewhat unique, given the rubber top over the soft body. We currently have four rescue dogs, two of whom love toys, and I was torn over whether to give this to Jasmine, our pit bull, or Ollie, one of our coonhounds. Ollie won! He was injured this past week and I felt he deserved a little something extra. I was hoping this would do the trick, and it did! As soon as I wiggled the toy in front of Ollie, he leapt into the air with joy, and “politely” snatched it from me when I handed it over. He ran laps around the kitchen with it. 🙂 The toy seems well-made. In addition to the unique dual textures (rubberized top and cloth body), there’s a squeaker located within the facial area. The underside of the toy is textured. I do like purchasing octopus or squid toys for Ollie and Jasmine, as the many legs wiggling about create a lot of interest.

Solid dog toy for med dogs
Solid toy for the price that’s shared with a pair of med sized dogs that tend to chew a bit. Not a bad price and has mostly held up, except at the top one of the plastic ‘wings’ of the last section was able to partially ripped. The one pup tends to like aiming at appendages so I was worried about all the legs more, but those are fine so far (many amputated toys are around the house, or missing ears so this is a surprise). It does have multiple squeakers which is nice, and immediately drew both pups’ attention for who would get it. That said, I had also gotten a few other new ones and once those arrived, they quickly relegated this to a secondary toy. Both still play with it, but are more interested in the other toys horded elsewhere. Once going the tug game entertains them, but I think it’s not getting a solid hold of the body that makes them less interested. I haven’t tried without the plastic top so that may change things, but I think that is also helping it last longer.Overall not a bad toy, no mess, and both wanted it right away. Both still play with it, but easily will have attention pulled away by other squeaks. Absolutely not sorry to have it, as it gives options or extra toys for outside. At under $10, it offers enough value for my dogs to be worth it. I have a feeling larger dogs would reduce the lifespan of it though.

Engaging squid toy for dogs
The Squid Shaped Squeaky Dog Toy was a hit with my 30 pound puppy. She loves playing tug with it, chewing the top, and carrying it around. The colors are bright and attractive and the fabric has different textures. The squeaker is loud and engaging. The thin arms mean my 7 pound dog can play with it as well, because the arms are small enough for her to get a good grip on. It’s not durable, because with a teething puppy nothing is, but it was a great toy while it lasted.

Cute and Fun for my Mini Borderdoodle!
My dog absolutely loves this toy. It took days for him to get the tentacles off to get to the squeaky toy inside the eyes portion, which I will praise because most toys take 5 to 10 minutes for him to destroy. So kudos! Since the top portion encapsulates another squeaky inside of it, he hasn’t been able to chew through the rubber part to get to it, so it is still usable as he still plays with it and wants me to play fetch with it. I can say this is a great quality toy, durable, and it is cute. All-around value for this toy.

Fun toy, but supervision needed for aggressive chewers
I gave this squid-shaped squeaky toy to my Boston Terrier puppy today, and his eyes lit up with excitement! He had never had a toy like this before, so he went right to town on the plastic covering the squid’s body. It didn’t take long for him to chew off the top piece. Thankfully, he didn’t swallow it, but I decided to just remove the plastic part, which took a bit of elbow grease, but wasn’t too difficult.Once the plastic was off, I felt much safer with him playing with it. We went on to play fetch with it, and he had a blast. The cloth part feels well-made and durable, so I expect it will take him some time to damage it further.It’s a fun toy, but I’d definitely recommend supervising if you have an aggressive chewer like mine.
