M Size for Small to Medium Cats: This stainless steel litter box measures 17.7×13.8×5.9 inches, providing ample space for your cat to dig and move around. The open-top design helps alleviate anxiety caused by enclosed spaces, making it an ideal choice for single-cat households or small to medium-sized cats, creating a relaxed and natural environment.
Reinforced Stainless Steel Material: Compared to traditional plastic litter boxes, this box is made of precision-polished stainless steel with a smooth surface and a comfortable touch. It is durable, sturdy, and highly resistant to damage, with a lifespan of over three years. Additionally, it effectively prevents litter from sticking to the bottom, making it a cost-effective and eco-friendly long-term choice.
Upgraded Details: The edges of the kitty litter box are finely polished to ensure a smooth touch with no risk of scratches, making litter cleaning easier and more effortless. The bottom is equipped with four EVA anti-slip pads, effectively preventing the metal litter box from scratching floors or tiles during daily use and reducing the risk of accidental tipping, ensuring a safe and tidy home environment.
Odor-Free & Easy to Clean: This high sided litter box is thoughtfully designed to prevent any lingering odors. The litter naturally gathers at the bottom, making it easy to clean with water and dry quickly. It creates a fresh and comfortable living environment for both you and your cat.
Multi-Functional Use: The medium litter box is not only suitable for all types of cats (including adult cats and kittens), but also ideal for various pets such as rabbits, ferrets, and snakes. Unlike plastic litter boxes, its sturdy material effectively prevents pets like rabbits from chewing on plastic, thus avoiding the risk of ingestion. Additionally, its large capacity and stylish appearance make it an excellent choice for multi-functional use, such as a pet bathing tub or a metal storage container, perfectly meeting your diverse needs.

Good for smaller cats or to save space
My husband and I ordered different sizes while replacing some of our plastic cat boxes with stainless steel. This one is the smaller of the two in my photo. If you have young or smaller cats, or limited space, this will work fine. But know this size won’t be great for larger cats, those that kick litter everywhere (might want more box space to catch it), or those that lift when they pee. You’ll want to either get a bigger box or side shields in that case.Overall though, we have a multi-cat household and keep a lot of boxes around for them, so it’s nice having size options for different spaces. This one will be good for all but our largest cat, hence why we bought a mix.

Bigger, flatter, wider, and a winner.
My baby girl is 16 and has been diagnosed with colon cancer, and so we had to revert to using a litterbox for the first time in years (she is toilet trained), since she’s having trouble controlling her balance when she goes poo now due to her health condition. However, after no longer being able to aim her poo into the toilet bowl, she has decided that she prefers going poo on the floor instead of going poo in a litterbox (we ended up buying multiple types of litterboxes to see if she’d utilize one instead), but she just kept pooping on the floor next to them all… every. single. day. To be fair, her legs are on the short side, and she’s got a very muscular chest, so climbing in and out of the standard issue high sided blue plastic litterbox we’d initially gotten her was… undignified. What was it about the floor that she preferred so much, given her condition? It occurred to me that what she needed was something bigger, flatter and wider. Enter the Petinstinct large stainless steel cat litterbox (XL sized). With the help of some new “jackpot treats” (thank goodness for treat bribery), we are now on our 10th day of no poo on the floor. To be clear, the new jackpot treats alone weren’t enough to consistently entice her to abandon pooping on the floor previously. But with this large stainless steel litterbox, she’s finally feeling comfortable having enough space to turn around more freely, and to poop in the litterbox where she’s supposed to. aside from that, this stainless steel box has little rubber discs at each corner underneath, which I am guessing is helpful for my cat to feel stable and secure while using it (it doesn’t freely slide on the floor). the litterbox came with 4 extra rubber stick-on discs, which leads me to my only real major complaint about this box: the extras were stuck to the bottom on the inside of the litterbox, and the glue from the adhesive strip on the little cellophane baggie containing these extras left a line of goo on the interior of the litterbox, which I had to remove manually before we could use the box (I used cooking oil and elbow grease and paper towels, then went at it with several rounds of window cleaner after that, and then several final rinses with plain water to remove any remaining window cleaner residue). while I do appreciate the extras, I wish they would’ve been stuck onto the bottom of the exterior of the litterbox, so I wouldn’t have had to deal with a line of sticky glue in the middle of what’s supposed to be ground zero of a functionally non-sticky type of surface. I felt compelled to knock off a star for that, but it’s something the manufacturer can very easily refrain from doing in the future. Before putting any litterbox into “active duty” (active doody? anyone? *crickets*), I always very thinly coat the interior of a new, unused litterbox with a layer of unscented/unflavored silicone “personal lubricant” (I never use industrial/equipment silicone lubricant because cats are very sensitive to chemicals, and I worry about potential impurities in the industrial/equipment grade stuff). consider this: plain silicone is inert and nontoxic to cats, and silica itself is also the molecule which occurs naturally in glass/ceramics which is what allows ceramic cookware to be nonstick. usually this type of litterbox prep is magical for plastic litterboxes because it clogs the pores of the plastic with silicone, but this silicone pretreatment doesn’t seem to have had the same type of dramatic nonstick effect on this stainless steel litterbox as it usually does on the plastic litterboxes. this is my first time utilizing a stainless steel litterbox, so I’m not entirely sure why my usual silicone pretreatment doesn’t work as well on this type of surface. I’m still able to fairly easily scoop clumps off of the metal, so I really can’t complain. perhaps it’s because the stainless steel’s very lightly textured surface already has nonstick properties due to the physics of the lightly textured surface, which may actually be negated by the silicone pretreatment I applied, but there’s no way to know for sure now without performing a deep clean of the whole box to remove the silicone coating. I’ll update my review accordingly if I notice any significant differences in nonstick properties after I do my first deep cleaning of the box (which will remove the thin silicone layer I applied). For reference, we use the unscented “world’s best” brand of clumping cat litter. All things considered, this litterbox has been a lifesaver and I’m extremely happy with it (and so are my cats, or so it seems). This will be a 5 star product if the manufacturer refrains from leaving glue on the inside of the litterbox going forward.

Great size for larger cats
We were looking to replace some of our 8 or so cat litter boxes with stainless steel and had a tough time finding larger ones our largest cat would use. This should do the trick! We ordered some smaller ones too. In my photo you can see this next to one of those for a size comparison. The smaller one is the most common size we see being sold from various brands. The larger one is this one. Nice high sides should keep any mess in the box. And there’s plenty of room for even a large cat in there. It even comes with adhesive “feet” to keep the box from sliding around or scuffing hard floors.

A good cat box. Accurate description in the listing.
I’ve recently begun switching out our plastic litter boxes with the stainless steel boxes and the cats have been happy and seem to prefer the stainless. I’m not sure why but i’ll chalk it up to the fact that they like new things.Anyway, this box arrived quickly and included 4 spare soft feet. The “medium” size description is certainly appropriate for the size that it actually is. It’s bare bones but that’s all it really needs to be. It’s a good box that our cats appear to feel comfortable using.Pros – easy to clean and the cats took to it right away. Extra soft feetCons – Thin sheet steel. Would be nice to include a scoop or litter mat.

Huge!
This is one big litter box. You can dump in a 28 pound box of Arm&Hammer Clump&Seal, and it’s just at a comfortable depth. Bear in mind, you will need to put a lot of litter into this one at the start. But it’s big enough to accommodate multiple cats, fussy cats, or owners who don’t remember to clean out the box often enough. The steel feels reasonably sturdy. I was afraid the different soundscape might put the cats off, but they took to it at once. There are four round non-slip feet on the bottom of the pan, and four extras came in a bag, which was a nice touch. Of course, the purpose of going with stainless steel is the expectation that it will endure for years, and there’s no way to test that but the passage of time. For now, this seems like a great litter pan!

10/10 Stars – Especially for Large Cat Owners
I was thrilled to request this litter pan, as I have a large Himalayan cat that often has trouble fitting comfortably into a traditional litter pan, even if I buy the “jumbo” size. The best part about this particular pan is that the sides are much higher than a traditional litter pan and therefore, reduces the amount of litter being kicked or pushed over the sides. A+++ product!

Just as described!
This is a plain and simple stainless steel litter box. It comes with feet pads that are already attached to the bottom, plus you get and extra pair. Seems to be quality made. The price is reasonable when compared to others like it.**My rating system: 5 stars means it exceeded my expectations, 4 stars met my expectations, 3 stars falls short of my expectations, 2 stars is considerably below my expectations and 1 star not recommending product
