Wow, I never thought I’d be so impressed by something as simple as a regular cat litter box, but this is next level. The magnetic door is VERY easy to open. And the frame of the door mounts in such a way that if your cat gets confused by it, the entire frame can easily be pushed forward by the cat. So you never have to worry about them feeling trapped or unable to escape. Yet the fact that it gently keeps itself closed means orders are trapped inside and won’t stink up the house. There’s a vent up top to make sure it’s safe for your cat to be inside, as well. So, no worries there! The step is such a thoughtful touch, as is the little pad that protects your floor in front of the litter box. So any excess litter that may come out when your cat exits, is kept contained there and easy to clean up, rather than winding up all over the floor. My cats actually found this to be fun and were immediately drawn to it. My cat box liners fit perfectly, but this litter box is much more “roomy,” both in height and length. So my adult cat (who was outgrowing the old litter box, to the point where I had to keep its lid removed) fits perfectly in this one. He can stretch out and do his business without feeling overly confined. My little kitten also has no trouble opening the door, even though he was a little confused at first. He quickly got used to it by watching his daddy cat enter and exit the box. I love it! And so do the kitties! Highly recommended!!

Wonderful litter box
We have two large cats and we’ve tried many different litter boxes. This one is great. It’s large without being overly bulky. It’s solidly built. The quality of the finish and the neutral colors are nice and attractive. The box includes everything you need to give your cats an excellent litter box experience with minimal mess! You can use it without the lid, with the lid but not the door assembly, with the door assembly but not the door, or with all the parts. The door swings easily and doesn’t scare the kitties. The inside is spacious and holds a good amount of litter. The enclosure does a great job of containing odors and litter. The step makes it easy for the cats to enter and exit. The litter mat does a good job of catching any litter that tracks outside the box. The included scoop does a good job too. My only minor complaint is that it’s a little inconvenient to remove the lid for scooping with the door assembly in place.

Trivico Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box with Lid
We have several cats, so a solid litter box or three is a necessity. One cat in particular lives up to the fat cat name (also scared-ee cat but that’s not relevant here), so I have to buy XL litter boxes for him. This litter box is well made. The base is steel but it’s not paper thin, so it should hold up well. The top is actually three separate pieces. The sides clip on, so you can leave the lid off and keep it open if you choose. You can attach the top and leave the door off, so it’s fully enclosed except for the front. Finally, you can attach the door so the box is fully enclosed. The swinging door is easy to open, so hopefully your kitty can figure it out.One thing that’s strange is there is a compartment with a lid for charcoal filters, but there are no filters included with the litter box. They aren’t mentioned in the instructions, so they weren’t accidentally excluded.

Super large and sturdy, keeps odors under control
This large, sturdy cat box is well designed and works great in our household with several cats. This is easy to assemble, very easy to clean and keeps mess and odor minimal. The lid fits very well and the magnetic door is easy for my cats to go in and out of. This keeps litter and odor in, and the little “stool” that goes outside the box catches any extra litter in its grooves, keeping the floor clean. The stainless steel is much more durable than plastic and I find it easier to clean and that it doesn’t pick up and hold odors over time as plastic does. I am really happy with this cat box and would highly recommend it in terms of durability, ease of use and odor and mess control.

Large and hefty kitty litter box
I love the metal base for the kitty litter box. It’s a bit more sanitary to clean off kitty litter off of steel than it is plastic. It’s a very hefty box and I plan to use it to bring my cat to friends houses when they kitty sit my cat. It’s large and spacious and easy to clean and doesn’t get a lot of kitty litter everywhere which would be nice for my sitters.

Excellent product.
Excellent kitty litter box. Base is metal with a 2 part top, swing door and scoop. Also comes with outside grate and pad to catch anything on their feet when exiting. Good height to allow plenty of room for bigger cats. A great gift idea or upgrade.

This lotter box is superb
This litter box is superb, the best I have ever seen. It was easy to assemble, looks great, inexpensive for all it does, and our cat loves it. We like how it is manufactured with high walls so that the litter does not come out and mess up the room. Similarly, the step and the two-layer mat have holes to catch litter.
