My cat’s plastic litterbox had reached the end of its usability, as stubborn residues refused to come clean during litter changes. Additionally, my cat’s enthusiastic leaps out of the litterbox often caused litter to scatter across the room, demanding frequent vacuuming. The stainless-steel variant from MFC MART provided an elegant solution to these challenges, featuring a sturdy, non-porous material and an effective guard to minimize spills.Assembly was straightforward, as the guard easily snapped onto the stainless base. While advertised as “extra large,” I’d consider the size more appropriately “large.” It accommodated my medium-sized cat comfortably, but owners of larger breeds might need to explore bigger options. Fortunately, my cat adjusted to the new box without hesitation, and the guard significantly reduced litter scatter—a win for cleanliness! To further aid this, I paired the box with a sifting mat, enhancing its functionality.The primary drawback for me was the price. While the build quality feels durable and premium, I’d expect it to be priced closer to $40 or $50 rather than the nearly $60 listed. Nevertheless, it effectively addresses a range of common litterbox issues, proving to be both practical and well-crafted.
