A very good low-height entry litter box
The XL stainless steel litter box by Altipopic is fabulous!! The high sides really keep most of the litter in and i like that the top is open so it doesn’t trap oders, with a lower entry point for my fur baby. Product dimensions are: 23.5″L x 15.8″W x 12.6″H, with the basin holding up to 36 liters of litter. The plastic lid, made of Polypropylene, really elevates the sides, with 6.6-inch high walls, for my kitty who is a high pee-er. I haven’t had any accidents so far outside of the litter box and the stainless steel is so easy to clean! I just use a paper towel with soap and water to spot clean. The plastic lid clips easily on the stainless steel basin and there have been no leaks so far! I had no issues with removing the lid either. Some litter does get left on the entry way portion of the lid when my kitty uses it, but i just brush it back in to the basin, and have a litter mat for any remaining litter. The stainless steel helps in keeping the oder to a minimum. The description states that the stainless steel is rust resistant and durable. The plastic lid is slightly flexible so i imagine it won’t crack easily. There are two buckles on the high sides which keep it secure and the low-entry side makes it easily accessible for most cats. My kitty has had no issues using this litter box and he seems to like it. I was surprised it came with three pee pads or litter mats! I was not expecting that and it was a nice surprise. The litter box also comes with 4 anti slip pads for the bottom of the litter box and a metal litter scoop that can hang on the side of the litter box lid. I have yet to use the litter scoop or litter mats, but both are nice additions. Everything about this litter box is thoughtfully designed!

HUGE and sturdy!
This litter box is massive, and works well for multiple cats. The side walls are nice as they attach well (much better than my last box). That helps shield the litter from coming out on the sides and there is a height drop down for cats to easily enter and exit. The scooper is made of sturdy metal and has a handy clip for the side, which is a nice feature and makes cleaning easy and also because you dont have to set a dirty scooper on the floor. The metal pan itself is really strong. It came with 3 mats, which are better quality that I expected and are the perfect size to fit underneath. One side of each mat has nonslip material, but the box also came with optional rubber gripper pieces to put on the bottom to help it not slide. I’m not sure it’s worth the $74 price tag, but it’s definitely much better than the standard litter boxes and a good middle step if you don’t want to invest in one of the giant automatic ones that costs hundreds of dollars, so I think the value is really in the eye of the beholder. I’m happy to have this as a replacement for my old plastic box.

Excellent stainless steel litter box
I have multiple big cats and this litter box is excellent! It is big and the sides are high especially with the top that securely attaches but it is still easy to remove for cleaning. Stainless steel is really the only way to go as it is easy to keep clean and reduces odors. So much better than plastic. This litter box is really a game changer. The lower opening is easy for my senior cat to use, it would be the same for a kitten. My cat’s don’t like to be closed in so I like that it is open while still containing the litter.This box also comes with a stainless steel scoop which makes it easier to clean than plastic. It also comes with 3 litter pads which is nice. The price is in line with comparable stainless steel litter boxes. If you are looking to upgrade your litter box, this box is definitely a good choice.

Easy to clean
Wow! Stainless steel is the way to go for litter boxes. This box by Altipopic is very well made. The high sides keep the cats from kicking litter out of the box. It is so much easier to clean than plastic boxes. My cats took to this box immediately. Stainless steel helps to control the odors associated with cats. This box alone has made my life with my 3 cats so much easier. The litter scoop with this box is well made and heavy duty. And I really like the pads. They are cute, the perfect size and keep the cats from tracking the litter on the floors. I will never switch back to plastic boxes.

Large, high sided. stainless steel litterbox is fantastic
This litterbox is nice and large (the cat pictured is about 9lbs) and the top portion helps block the litter from behind flung around. The top is a hard plastic while the box itself is stainless steel, so it should be possible to keep it cleaner than plastic. It looks nice (as litterboxes go) It came with three waterproof pads that just fit underneath and a short handled stainless steel scoop that hooks to the side. It’s large enough to give most kitties plenty of room to do their business, and the top is high enough to prevent most litter hurlage.

Awesome Side Entry SS Box!
This is a great XL Stainless Steel litter box.The side entry works great for me. Stainless is better for hygiene and cleaning purposes.The plastic rim is easy to take off and so far there were no issues with my cats using this box. It comes with a scoop and litter mats which are always handy to have.I’m deducting a star for the price point. I was going to get a second one but $99 seems a bit steep.Other than that I recommend this product.

Game-Changer for Big Cats
This stainless steel litter box is exactly what we needed! It’s extra large, so my cat has plenty of room to move around without kicking litter everywhere. The high sides help contain messes, and the metal surface is truly non-sticky and super easy to clean—no more scraping dried mess off plastic. The included scoop is sturdy and works great. It feels durable and hygienic, and I love that it doesn’t absorb odors. If you’ve got a big cat or just want something easy to maintain, this is totally worth it!

Very happy with this litter box
This is a great litter box. I have 2 cats and one of them is very large and he fits in here just fine. The plastic litter box I previously had needed to go and I feel like replacing it with this one has really helped out with the smell in the house. It comes with 3 mats which is nice and it will work with basically any type of litter. It also comes with a new scooper which is working out great. Excellent quality and easy to clean!
