Best litterbox yet
I love that this is super easy to clean, doesn’t hold odors, doesn’t scratch, stays together well, has high sides, and is big enough for my 11 pound cat. I will forever be using stainless litter boxes from now on. Yes it’s a bit more expensive than the traditional boxes, but I think this will last as long as my cat!

Expensive- but so much better than others I’ve tried!
I hesitated based on the price, but it is honestly so much better than the regular plastic varieties. I upgraded after my last move since I had no desire to take the old one with me anyway due to the gross out factor.Besides the actual litter box improvement, the scoop it comes with is so much nicer too, and fits perfectly in my Litter Genie. As a germaphobe I still recommend cleaning the box every day, but to be fair, I think non-clean freaks could get away with cleaning it (slightly) less often because the stainless steel does help. At any rate, cleaning it does seem easier somehow. The scoop glides easily through and doesn’t get struck on the bottom of the pan. As much as I usually prefer to change my scoop regularly I think I will try just cleaning this one often and keeping it as long as possible since I like it so much. It’s not really in the disposable category, and I am trying to get better about waste.It fits inside my covered litter box cabinet too while providing a lot more coverage on the top and sides, resulting in less mess. My last one was high walled too, but plastic. That one was okay, but not nearly as nice.I am actually allergic to cats (yes, some of us are crazy enough to have pets in spite of allergies) and somewhat sensitive to smells. I actually don’t notice any odors as far as that’s concerned, and have been told the same by guests, surprisingly. Whether they were just being polite or it was/is due to my obsessive compulsive cleaning standards is up for debate. 🙂 Also yes, I do actually have OCD.My cat seems to like it too as far as I can tell, for what it’s worth.Yes, it’s just a fancy expensive cat litter box and scoop. Your cat will survive either way, I guess.But it’s good if you’re tired of mediocre cat supplies- and smelly hard to disinfect plastic. You’ll thank me later.

The litter box is great the scoop is not
My cat loves the cover and the stainless steel doesn’t retain an odor after cleaning! My cat is 12 pounds and lanky- I got the medium and it was just a little small for my cat because she pees A LOT. I would get the large next time. I use Dr.Elsey’s multi cat litter and it clumps very hard so when I used the included scoop it began to bend at the handle. If you don’t have to deal with scraping the bottom of the litter box often it should be fine.

Next to no smell now
The litter box came with no dents or scratches. It’s a pretty good size for a cat. I bought this to replace the plastic Arm and Hammer box we’ve had for a couple of years now that just smelled off even if I just put in new litter and washed it out. The steel doesn’t hold odors the same way, and we had moved the box out into the open in the powder bath for a bit and there was surprisingly next to smell. When we did smell something, it was only because the cat just used the box. The only downside is that awful sound the cat’s claws makes on it. He likes to dig a lot at the litter, even when he’s reached the bottom. I’ve not noticed any scratches on the box itself though. We have it moved back into his closet, so at least we don’t have to hear it now.

Kind of small and retainer latches come off very easily.
The latches that hold the top to the pan break off very easily. Not welded on. Possibly only spot glued on. I’m going to try some JB Weld. I like the stainless steel upgrade… however they are kind of small.

I feel that the stanles steel is more sanitary and it is easy to clean.

These boxes are way too small!
We had been wanting to switch to stainless steel boxes from plastic. We have three cats, so we need multiple boxes. Ordered the largest size box and let me tell you they are tiny! Ultimately these boxes do not fit a full sized adult cat for comfortable restroom use. The website description was inaccurate about sizing and the photo (obviously photoshopped) is quite misleading about the box size.

My cat is about 10lb, and this litter box is almost too small for her. But she fits just right, so it’s definitely for smaller cats. I love that’s it’s stainless steel, it doesn’t leak if your cat pees too high. I accidentally filled the litter too the first time, for the first few times she used it she accidentally peed outside the box. But after I corrected her, it was no longer a problem. My only real complaint is that the litter scooper has cracked apart, I bought a new stainless steel scooper to replace it. But buyer beware this scoop is flimsy and made from very thin metal.

Plastic get scratches and bacteria grow in the Fissures but it dosent with aluminum it wont happen and it is so nice 😀 and sturdy.

I don’t think this is high quality… certainly does not reflect the price. This is after only two months of use, using the scoop that came with it and Swheat Scoop Litter (one cat, box cleaned daily.) The first delivery I had to return because it was already scratched and the lining was all broken. This one came broken too but not as badly and the kitten was coming home and I don’t have local stainless steel litter box options. I spent the money on this in anticipation it would last a good long while but I have a bad feeling it won’t. The pictures I took were after cleaning it not once, but twice, and wiping down with a damp towel with hot water and then drying.
