Well, I like it.
It’s not soft but that makes no difference to my puppy. Hopefully the pick I took really gives you a look at the texture so you will know what it feels like. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea.But dogs like it! My puppy likes it all though he has a few dog beds and a few more things he uses as dog beds. He goes to this one more often than most of the others. The size is nice that I got it’s not too big but it’s not nearly as small as the puppy beds that he is growing out of at a rapid rate.Idk about indestructible 🤔 pretty sure nothing is indestructible for dogs so keep an eye out that way your pup doesn’t choke on the fur it pulls out, if it can. I haven’t noticed much but I did take some out of my puppies mouth once. He has been using using it a lot so once is nothing it might have been something else anyway. It’s built well, it is thick enough to put a space between the dog and the floor. He doesn’t chew on it as much as I expected him to anyways.

Dogs don’t seem to care for this bed. 🙁
TLDR? Scroll down for the BOTTOM LINE!For starters, the bed comes vacuum sealed and requires some “assembly.” That said, it was fairly easy to put together. It comes with a 2-3 month guarantee saying that if your dog destroys part of it, they’ll replace either the cover or the egg crate one time. It’s a pretty short length of time, but if you’ve got a destructive dog, at least you’ll know you’ve got a little bit of cover. I got the bed assembled and put it down for the dogs beside my chair. Interestingly, they don’t seem to like it as much as I thought they would. I’m not sure whether it’s because it’s a little bit too small for my big dog, or because my little dog is already spoiled by being allowed on the furniture, I’m really not sure. All I know is that it’s just not really a hit. It’s getting used, sure, it’s just not really a hit like new beds usually are.***BOTTOM LINE! For starters, all of my reviews start off with four stars and go up or down from there. I don’t really see any problems with it. The dogs don’t seem interested in chewing on it and I like the fact that the cover is washable. The dogs just don’t seem crazy about it, and that’s unfortunate. For that reason alone, I’ll probably have to give this bed only three stars. It’s a dog bed and the dogs don’t seem to care for it. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to edit my review, but for now, three out of five stars.

My dog loves it! So do I.
This is a superior dog bed. I have a 13 year old dog who is getting some arthritis in her hips and back legs. She needs a soft pillow to lie on. Unfortunately, she has a habit of digging at all the pillows we get for her to try to make them more comfy and this tears them up. This bed is much more sturdy with high quality, thick fabric for the ticking. It is designed so that the cover can be easily removed with a zipper on one narrow end. This makes for easy washability. It’s the insides I’m most impressed with. The ‘stuffing’ is an eggcrate style foam pad that is about 2.5″ thick. This foam pad goes inside another water proof cover so that if there are any accidents or if you have jerk cats like me, only the outer cover will get wet and not the inner foam. That is fantastic!I got this all put together and showed it to my old dog about an hour ago, and she has not moved off of it since. She’s sound asleep and it looks like she is very comfy. She has lots of room to spread out on it and still have all her legs and her hips supported.

Seems to be built to last, not sure how comfortable
When I ordered I didn’t pay too much attention to the actual measurements. I looked more at the price and figured for that much ($99.00) it had to be a decent size. When it actually arrived I was surprised with how small it was. When I looked back at the measurements and then got the tape measure out, which I usually do and should have done for this as well, I was able to see that this was the size it was meant to be and the price it cost.I have 5 little dogs and they have no concept of personal space or what it means when something doesn’t belong to them. For this reason I always try to get bigger beds so they can just share. They haven’t torn up every bed they have but then sure do tear up A LOT. Fingers crossed this one will last. It’s basically an egg mattress topper that you zip inside a mattress protector that was similar to plastic diapers. Then you zip that up inside the soft furry top that they actually lay on. The zipper part of this piece is very thick, sturdy, and well made. Definitely seems built to last. Its also kind of hidden between the back and the fluff coming over the side. The bottom is nice and thick. I’ve had a problem with them turning the beds over and scratching/digging at it until there’s a hole. Next thing I know there is stuffing everywhere. That sure doesn’t seem possible with this one, at least not with my small dogs. The edges are rounded. I’m guessing that will make it harder for them to actually grab onto with their mouth.Me personally I don’t think the outer cover is very soft. Not at all. To me its a very coarse material, very itchy. I definitely would not enjoy laying on it nor would I lay on something of similar material. Maybe it’s different for dogs. I sure hope it is as I’ve left this down for them to lay on. Another thing I’m not too crazy about nor am I sure of how this will effect the bed long term. My dogs will try to burrow/dig on top of it which makes the fabric pill up. It leaves big fuzzy lint balls all over the house. I guess only time will tell what if anything comes of it.While it seems to be made very well, sturdy and built to last. I’m not sure its very comfortable for the dogs or is it worth the price. Not for the size at least.
