Seems to work for my dog
I wasn’t sure about this until I actually used it. My dog gets so hot in my car during the summer, so I thought I’d try it. I put in on the floor after opening it…it didn’t feel cool at all to touch. But I walked barefoot on it was was surprised how cool it felt compared to the normal flooring I have. She seems more comfortable lying on it in my car- recommended!

Summer essential for dogs with double coats!
This mat is somehow magically cool to the touch and stays cool, which is fabulous during the summer months. It’s easy to fold up. I got the smaller size for my 60 pound Lab. Fits nice in my backpack. Gives my service dog a “place” to wait when she accompanies me on appointments. I appreciate that it’s a solid neutral color.

Not perfect, but worth a try
I got this to help my older dog stay cool. While it is cool to the touch, I’m not sure that there is much cooling when a dog sits or lays in one place for awhile.Note for older dogs: the top surface is quite slippery and my older dog has difficulty standing with his legs sliding from underneath him.No assembly. No gel insert, but I wouldn’t want to use with a dog who tends to chew on their bedding, because the plastic fibers on the underside could be an issue.Well sewn.

Even the grumpiest pets love it!
This cooling pad is awesome! Look at Calico, the untamed cat that came with our house. She loves it! We live in Florida, where it is now topping 90 degrees F, soon to be over 100. Cats can’t handle extreme heat, but this cooling pad, air cooled and is still cool to the touch after hours. She lives in our front yard, and is not a good candidate for indoor living. If you have an outside pet in deep summer, you need shade and a cooling pad! Worth every penny to save a life!

My dog loves it!
I opened the bag and placed it on the bed. He knew it was his and layed down and slept. Its his go to place. I am thinking of getting another one for me! Fantastic, just as described. 5 stars!
